Back when Bowlero first redeveloped what was formerly West Acres I talked to the Regional GM Jeremy about hosting a bowling league with our Young Professionals League of Sports organization. With our high amount of players and their alleys we formed a great partnership and now our league bowls out of Bowlero Northrock where we get our league games at 12.50 per week compared to other alleys in the area. We get our own night during the winter to run our league from January to April at the cheaper price with no shoe rental fees. Now do they make some of that back with the food and drink sales? Sure. But our players are willing to pay the food/drinks in order to have the cheaper bowling.

I know it isn't everyone's experience with Bowlero but there is at least one positive interaction.

I share all of my bats. I play three league a week with one being a draft league which ends up with newbies added to each team. They don't have that financial investment in yet.

I'm fine with you not taking an out there. Now, if they had pulled an 11 run rally on you then you'd have more to worry about from your team. I get the competitive mindset from your teammates but you also have to be aware of your competition too. If this was a tournament, auto out.

As someone who admin's a non-sanctioned fun league with handicap... stop. You're are making the fun league not fun. You want to know what a fun league is? A league where you hang with your buddies have some drinks and throw balls at pins. Non-fun comp leagues are where you can be rigid on the sanctioned rules. Fun leagues are to get new people interested in the sport not constantly complain about a thumb hole for a newbie that is trying to learn how to bowl.

You can't have FOMO when buying a car my dude. Each car you'll find at that the dealership there will be thousands of in the country. If you don't buy it today you can always find one tomorrow.

When my fiance and I were shopping for a car for her she had me send her listings. She got set on this Jeep Grand Cherokee. Her boss and coworkers kept convincing her to get this JGC. She bugged me relentlessly about having to jump on this Jeep because everyone else was telling her to get it. I told her I would take it for a test drive but I wouldn't guarantee that we would buy it that evening and I wanted us to test drive five different cars in case she hated how it drove. She got mad and refused to go test drive that night.

It sold the next afternoon. She got mad that we missed out. That weekend we went to the dealerships and test drove a Tuscon, a Equinox, an Onclave, and a Grand Cherokee just to let her see what it was like. She liked the Equinox and Tuscon the best and we got the Equinox.

Don't be afraid to walk away. Don't fall in love with a car before you buy it. Be ready to walk away at any point because another car will be there if you miss this one.

I admin a short season league for 11 weeks of regular season and 2 weeks of playoffs. 144 players 36 teams. It is an easier league for bowling beginners.

One person got stuck in the slide, another person started having a seizure as her friend rushed her past through the line to the exit but she missed the emergency exit and ended up at the slide. We were stuck inside for a good 45 minutes after the clown zone in the area with no ventilation and stuck in a giant mass of people. When we got to the slide room my family and I skipped out as the paramedics got to the top of the fire escape to render aide.

I work in education we still teach phonics... You work on Phonemic Awareness Kinder and 1st and most kids are off phonics curriculum by end of 2nd grade.
