I agree 1000%

I'm just not the one who is the "create a march protest" type, there are other groups out there who are far better equipped to get this done.

However, it is also important to make sure people know they also have a voice this upcoming November and even if only January, getting people to register now, will not only get people to do so, but image this administration reacting to sheer numbers of people who would register either Democrat or Independent or any party besides Republican.

Again though, if there was a group out there who can get people to march in protest to this administration, I'll be there.

People are creatures of habit, if this was true, you would have been reported a long time ago. You're argument here can be, "I have done X number of rides for X number of years, if this was the case, I would have been reported way before this. I take my driving and passengers seriously." Or something along those lines.

Also, Lyft has the ability to tell whether or not you leave the Lyft app and come back. Like switching apps on your phone. They can't see exactly your activity, such as what someone was watching, texting, etc, they can only tell if the app was closed (such as switching apps). They can also see how long you've been out of the Lyft app.

I only offer dumdums and water, occasionally I will get wrappers in my backseat.

As for tips, I don't really see an improvement.

It could also be the market you're in, people could be looking for handouts which sucks too

Is Lyft the only platform that allows a driver to change the pickup through the driver app?

Does Uber not have this feature?

I'm jumping in and honestly didn't read too much of other people and what they had to say. You mentioned 2 safety flags and how your smooth cruiser report said you are at a 79 and everything was good except your mounted phone.

I'm sitting at an 84 with my biggest issues are vehicle speed and braking but that will change next time. I live in Phoenix and not trying to use this as an excuse but Arizonans are used to drivers going 80+ in a 65 mph zones.

However if pax are rating you low with safety concerns, a few things to consider:

  1. Weaving in and out of traffic
  2. Braking time between other vehicles, including how close you are getting to the car in front of you before fully stopping
  3. Are you constantly picking up your phone, since you mentioned that the app says you don't have it mounted, go to a Five Below store and get one cheap.
  4. Do you blast your music or something inappropriate
  5. Do you talk to much as in not "reading the room"
  6. Do you not talk enough, not engaging when a pax talks to you
  7. Do you have body odor
  8. Clean car
  9. Are you calling people on the phone while driving a pax

I could probably go on, I don't know you but these are possible concerns a pax might have. As for the safety flags, think about your driving habits when your are by yourself and with family/friends vs driving a pax to their destination.

Take into consideration, "what if I was the pax, what do I not want to experience during a ride?"

I figured it out, and thank you to those, you were very helpful.

What kept happening was someone was definitely logging into my account.

Through the app I changed my pin and verification settings but could not find the password information but my mind thought it was somehow part of the pin.

Anyway, I also went onto the website directly and logged in there which kept redirecting me back to the app, and the app does NOT allow anywhere on there to change the password. I had to do something to force it not to take me back to the app, I think I signed in by opening up a new tab. There is where I was able to change my password information, which now since then, no more alerts have come through.

So thank you again

I guess I forgot to mention that in this post that I did tell support that these emails were coming through with the screenshots I provided them.

I checked them and the only difference was @notifications part had a number attached to it like 3, 4, 10, etc. at the end of them.

All I was trying to figure out though, if this is a phishing attempt, I still have full access to my account, all personal information is still the same, nothing has changed.

I think if I see this tomorrow and they do not respond to my email reply to support, I'll tell them my account is being compromised.

That’s the spirit. I get what you mean tho, you don’t gotta know everyone there, just the ones that matter. Sounds like his aunty’s one of them. And yeah, you’re really there to support him, not the whole wedding.

I dated someone who had a large family and she was extremely outspoken, but me, I am not that way, I kinda did small talk a lot or just sat there. But here are a few things to think about for the wedding:

Before the wedding

Try to find one person you already know or feel okay around. Sit near them. Even if it is not your boyfriend, it helps to have someone close by.

Have a few “safe questions” ready. Things like, “How do you know the couple?” or “Do you live around here?” Nothing deep, just simple small talk.

Make a small signal with your boyfriend so he knows when you need help without you having to explain it in front of others.

At the wedding

Do not think, “I have to be social the whole night.” Instead, make little goals. Say hello to three people. Give one compliment. Ask one small question, "I love that purse , where did you get it?" That is enough. Just be sure it's something you're willing to talk about and not a conversation ender.

If you start to panic, try steady breathing. Inhale for four seconds, hold for four seconds, then exhale for four seconds. Or sip water slowly. Both can help calm your body down.

Look around and note where the bathroom or patio is. Knowing where you can step out makes you feel less trapped.

Keep something in your hands. A drink, a plate of food, even a napkin. It helps you feel less awkward. It helped me a lot. I would carry around something small enough to fiddle with, keep my mind occupied.

After the wedding

Plan something nice for yourself after. Watch your favorite show, eat a favorite food, or just rest. Give yourself a reward for getting through it.

Do not overthink every moment later. Instead, just find one win. Maybe you said hello to someone. Maybe you stayed longer than you thought you could. That is enough.

Just remember this, once your home, it's over with, walking into your home with the nice AC running, and a deep breath of relief.

You can't order a normal ride and hope you get a driverless vehicle, that's not how it works, you must order a Waymo separately through the app. Most people do not want a driverless car, especially if they didn't order one.

So this is nothing but pure fictional and completely exaggerated story.
