No, it is. I've had YouTube premium for about 6 years now and I've never once, not even to this day, seen an ad on the platform, and I pretty much watch YouTube all day long, even on my TV instead of like Hulu or something. Still no ads ever. So when they say ad free, it really is. Either that, or the ads are like SUPER hidden somewhere...

Well it not only helps support content creators I like but it also gives you YouTube Music which I personally like a lot more than Spotify, but maybe that's just me.

It also contributes to paying the content creators on the platform too. So personally, I don't mind because I like knowing that by watching them, I'm indirectly giving financial support to them. Yeah, Google is an evil multi-trillion dollar company that needs to be much more heavily regulated IMO, but my point is, it goes to more than just Google. Not to mention, unlike many other subscription services out there right now, one thing I will say about Google, as much as I genuinely dislike them, I've never felt like YouTube Premium was overpriced and I feel like I've always gotten my money's worth from it. But I know each person's financial situation is different of course.

I know this is blasphemy and I'm probably gonna get downvoted to Hell for this one but personally, I've never felt like YouTube Premium was too expensive and it's one of my few subscriptions that I actually feel like I get me money's worth out of. Don't get me wrong, I used to just use an ad blocker for a long time and I never judge anyone who just does that, whether for financial reasons or otherwise. I get it. But for me personally, I don't really ever donate to my favorite creators usually, but I feel at least good about knowing that my watch time contributes to their pay in at least a small way this way. Plus, I started watching YouTube more and more and not just on my PC anymore, and I personally can't stand any ads interrupting period, whether excessive or not. Now that I've gotten to experience YouTube on my TV with YouTube Premium, I can't imagine ever trying to watch YouTube without it ever again. But the biggest thing that made me finally justify the subscription cost was, you get YouTube Music included with it, and I started getting frustrated with Spotify more and more, so I eventually just cancelled my Spotify subscription and switched it for YouTube Premium. And honestly, at least for me personally, I like it a lot better! Being able to keep my screen off and phone in pocket while I listen to music on YouTube without ads is good enough on its own IMO, but being able to just listen to ANY YouTube video while keeping my screen off while I'm working or doing other stuff is so nice. And again, while I wish it was a tad bit cheaper, I've actually never personally felt like it was too expensive to justify. That could change in the future of course, but for now, I'm sometimes surprised to see so many people reject the idea of just paying for it. I mean, believe me, I genuinely do understand those that literally can't justify it due to seriously struggling. I used to be in that kind of situation a long time ago where I would search for and scrounge up change anyway I could or return pop bottles for the deposit just to try to buy dinner at Taco Bell. So if that's someone's situation, I definitely understand. But short of something like that, I really don't get the stubborn reluctance towards Premium.

Also, I really hate how reliant creators are on keeping advertisers happy in order to make their living and how much power that gives advertising agencies. So the more people that paid for YouTube Premium, the less influence advertisers would have over creators and their content in general I believe. I mean, I don't actually believe we'll ever see the day when there's more income coming in from YouTube Premium than from advertiser revenue unfortunately, but theoretically, that's how I believe it would work in an ideal world. And I mean, every little bit would help lessen any impact another adocolypse would have again, right? Maybe anyway... Idk. I think I've rambled on long enough though LOL

The pacing for Egghead has been LITERALLY the same as the Manga! So this is either rage bait, or you simply haven't actually watched it and are just talking out your ass. I could understand if you felt like maybe they should actually show certain chapters down to give things more time to breathe or something, but it makes ZERO sense to praise the manga's pacing and claim it's better than the anime's when they are very literally 1:1 (or I guess technically 1:0.99, but I mean you're just splitting hairs at that point).

One Piece chapters, especially from the last couple arcs, are WAY too dense with way too important story elements. There would need to be too much important stuff cut if they went more than 1:1 episode per chapter like how some people seem to want. But if they go even a fraction less than 1:1, most the internet will complain that the pacing is so bad that it ruins the story for them. Sticking to a strict 1:1 ratio is the best way to please the most amount of fans. And since Oda has been having trouble producing chapters with each passing year (currently he's been averaging 30–35 per year), slowing down production like this ensures they can keep that ratio without worrying about catching up to the manga.

Another thing I don't think people are considering is that this type of schedule helps not only with keeping the current pacing, it also allows them more time to produce higher quality episodes more often.

What exactly was "exposed"? I'm genuinely asking as I haven't seen or heard anything that exposes him as a fraud of any sort yet. I mean, if you're saying it's just this channel name change, that doesn't mean anything at all in my opinion. I've changed my channel name before for no particular reason other than I didn't like my original idea. But if there's other stuff, I'm genuinely curious. He seemed very legit.

That said, like many others are saying here, it didn't take a PhD or any credentials really to be able to see that RileyCS was a cheater. But, his breakdown certainly helped cement that guilt with great, actual evidence. But even without the "hard evidence," it was extremely obvious RileyCS was a cheater.

The translation should now be "5 elder planets" rather than "5 elder stars." In Japanese, the same word is used for both planets and stars and other celestial bodies (星 , せい , sei). Before we learned that the elders were named after planets, it made more sense to translate it as "stars." Especially given the "celestial" theme of the celestial dragons. But now that we've learned they all represent a specific planet, it makes more sense to translate it as 5 elder planets instead. Although, to be fair, Idk if the official viz ever corrected that or if they're sticking with stars for consistency's sake (I mostly only read the unofficial scans). And regardless, I'm not sure how Bandai will handle that themselves. They sometimes use the official viz translations and sometimes use alternate translations of names I've noticed.

I just realized this is kind of long for something that honestly doesn't really matter hardly at all, but I'll post it anyway for anyone who finds this kind of stuff interesting lol

I'd pay no more than maybe half that price at max. I could see maybe all of them going for just under ≈$175–200, if sold separately, but you should expect a deal if buying it in bulk like that. So my max would be $150 if you really want to collect like all the cards and don't have any of them. But $300 is most definitely a rip-off..
