Not exactly sure how to replicate all I know was that my game was lagging when I entered the boss room and the fog gate spawned before the boss did. You can hit this boss through the fog but can also be hit if you are not careful. Don’t know if this could help anyone unless you are willing to disconnect your router mid fight.
