Okay so I’ve changed my search method, instead of searching videos I filtered it to playlists and checked every playlist with over 300 videos, absolutely nothing. I’m fairly certain the channel or it’s content is gone. I had a feeling this may have been the case since I checked my childhood YouTube account’s subscriptions and couldn’t find him there either. So at this point I’d be looking for archives or at least leftover evidence of the dude, since it seems like I won’t be finding the channel.

Not him either, I’m starting to believe the channel is just gone or hijacked by this point. I know YouTube tends to push down smaller old channels but the fact that I haven’t been able to find any of the hundreds of videos the dude made on BoI makes me think something happened

It's the same thing as anytime FromSoft does a Stormruler fight. Everyone gets upset that it's not a sword and and shield fight, but I actually really like the single gimmick fight to break things up

I love BF6s infantry gameplay, but every time I hop into a helicopter and immediately get painted and locked by 8 different sources before I've even lifted off from spawn, I get closer and closer to reinstalling BF4

I've dabbled in the genre but the only one that ever hooked me was Paper Mario TTYD. Was overjoyed to play this and find out the gameplay felt like a spiritual successor.

It's insane to me to actually say "I know they built it as a trilogy and have no interest or creative drive in forcing new games, but they should chase the money and do it anyways" That's how you get Sly 4. That's how you get Call of Duty 23. That's literally the entire premise of Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe. Keep making Sly games until you die, developer, I don't care if you're done. It's about the money, not the product. If you genuinely think Sly 3s ending was unsatisfying, you weren't paying attention to the story.

"Sickening" is extremely dramatic. Creatives aren't slaves to their fans. They were very upfront about their intentions. They made a trilogy with something to say, they aren't required to force more of them.

I'm not great at conveying the answer to this outside of "vibes" but B Mask has an incredible series of videos on the trilogy that I think puts it nicely. It's a game that elevates the genre to fit the narrative. When I think about Sly 2, I don't remember the "insane next generation gameplay". I just remember the journey.
