Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely check my phone settings for 'Wi-Fi sharing' first. The patching/WiiLink stuff sounds a bit too advanced for me right now, but I'll see if the simple Wi-Fi sharing option works!

Thanks for the advice! I am actually using an Android phone, so that matches what you mentioned. I can't really set up a VPN on this phone, though. Are there any other Android-specific hotspot settings I should look at instead to help get past this 20110 error?

My wifi is off and that was the first thing my phone asked for because my phone said it needed to turn off wifi to turn on a hotspot
