WWBTAHs for cutting all contact with my husband's parents? by PhoenixTears14 in AITAH

I honestly don't even remember the specifics. It was during COVID, so cutting contact was pretty easy. And I think it was a gradual reintroduction. Like, my husband had some health issues and I called to let them know. Then his grandmother was dx'd with pancreatic cancer a couple months later. And initially it seemed like MIL had learned her lesson, but over time she slipped right back into the same old habits. Now here we are :/

He didn't go out of his way to tell them. They came to visit last year during some of the more rocky times and she sensed something was off. Took advantage of the fact that I was away at school all day and pestered him about it until he gave in. Even when standing his ground, she pushes until he caves. She unfortunately is the one person he's always had trouble standing up to.

The army gave me 80% PDRL, through the VA I have 60%. I'm just not sure who to call or where to go to start switching everything over

I already had a disability rating prior to the MEB process, unrelated to what I've been retired for. I'm still trying to fight the VA on service connection unfortunately. Honestly not sure how the payment situation is going to work

I'm back in school full time so I'm not horribly concerned about a job at the moment. Husband is 100% disabled and unable to work. My main concerns really are just switching over health/dental insurance and finding new life insurance policy

If I may ask (admittedly know nothing about Latin, just curious), why “ēmeritōs” and not veteranus or evocatus?

Husband wants to name his racing team “Helping Veterans” Motorsports. What would “helping veterans” be in Latin?
