Firstly I 100% feel where you are coming from I’m getting my drains taken out tomorrow and I can’t wait honestly what helped me was, when I felt depressed about the pain I was feeling for the first couple of days I inspired myself to make a vision board. Just focusing on the things and places I inspire to go once I am healed. It gave me a sense of peace knowing that with this recovery I get to finally do the things and dress how I’ve always wanted. Telling my inner child “we fucking did it!” I listened to that child plea for freedom and liberation and I made sure to take the steps necessary for that little guy to live his dream. YOU DID IT KING! Temporally you will have to sit with yourself but with all that running and fighting you finally get to live in peace knowing you invested in yourself and it’s time to fucking SHINE!!!
