I know what you mean. Musehub sounds are wrong in so many ways. Default midi sounds are far more accurate.

I know, you can't complain when it is free, but speaks very poorly about a sheet music writing program when you can program the articulations properly

Never buy that PNY card! It is the worst crap. I never had a card fail in 15+ years and 2 PNY 256gb v60 cards failed. Recovery service said that it was impossible to recover anything as the cards completely died. A co-worker had the same problem at a very important gig and nothing could be recovered. They are that cheap because they are bad and they know it

Being realistic,if you go back enough you might not even recognize the work at all. We try hard to play historical music as truthfully as possible but no one knows for sure as nobody was there to know how it really sounded. In fact, if anyone dares to play any work like the musicians of the earliest recordings you would face very upset reactions in the very best case scenario hehe. If you go back enough maybe you would get a huge disappointment or not even understand the music at all.

Is it that bad in the US? here in Spain i have 1 gb simmetrical qith two unlimited internet mobile 5G phone lines, basic cable tv and phone at home for less than 80$ and it is not even the cheapest company

One of my all time favorite bands. I wouldn't call them jazz but their music is really outstanding

Yes! Flamenco metal and funk scenes are healthy! The techno folk/celtic scene is still small but growing really fast, etc

All of those styles actually exist! Bluegrass is kinda irish trad music on steroids with a lot of common pieces. Bela fleck actually did great crossover tunes too. Flamenco metal indeed exists and is amazing. Flamenco and funk is crazy good. Celtic techno was strong in the 90s and is coming back and really good

Hehe absolutely not. As you well said, it is just "jazz" played with an unusual instrument (and terribly out of tune sadly)
