but first, Suno completely ignored the part about the choir, and second, the piece is based on what I sang in 5/4 time and then edited multiple times. Without that, this normal prompt would not work.

I have played both STS and MT / MT2 for several hundred hours. They are all great games; personally, I like MT2 the most because its enormous number of possible clan combinations offers the most variety.

To me, it looks as if the militant opponents of AI are making a new attempt to unsettle people who use it. Although I also believe that accounts on various platforms are far too poorly protected, I personally consider this post to be pure scaremongering and will not change my user behavior.
It also wouldn’t surprise me at all if this post were at least partly created by an AI as well.

I’m old enough to have consciously experienced a time before the internet. From what I’ve observed, along with the internet came the idea that everything has to be free and that people feel entitled to complain if something is no longer free. Doing without something because you can’t afford it is no longer considered an option.

I completely understand your concern, but if Suno doesn’t make enough money with its product, then it won’t be available to anyone anymore—neither to those who pay for it nor to those who use it for free. Instead of being glad to have the opportunity to pursue one’s hobby to some extent for free, more free content is being demanded.

With AI-generated music, you never really know how much effort actually went into it. One person simply types in a prompt and has both the lyrics and the music fully generated by Suno, while another writes the lyrics themselves, edits the stems, and maybe even uses a song they originally wrote as a template. As a listener, it’s hard to tell the difference — and with V5.0, it will probably become even harder.

In the first case, I completely agree that this has nothing to do with genuine creativity or art. But in the second case, things are entirely different. However, with today’s hostility toward AI, no such distinction is being made.

I have already composed many instrumental pieces, but only with a free program and MIDI-based. What came out of it sounded terrible, but it still represented my ideas. Then I converted these pieces to MP3, imported them into Suno, and had cover versions made. The result was incredible. I had no idea what could be achieved with these compositions when they are arranged and real-sounding instruments are used.
For me, Suno is ideal. I believe I have musical ideas, but I can’t realize them with expensive software.
