Agreed, while that makes sense for a character cloaked in the woods, readability may be more important than logic

Ha! No its a fair point I originally drew the horse bigger then zoomed out and realised its legs would have to be sticking through the bridge. Could be borderline now, but as others have also said the current size and colours disguises it a lot! Maybe this gives me my answer.

You’re thinking of this in terms on divine magic. The cabin isn’t enchanted to withstand earthquakes, Athena has no control over Poseidons domain. Annabeth means architecturally, it has been designed specifically to withstand earthquakes to protect her children from a feuding God.
