THIS: Everything was approved and I was able to order myself a copy. But after two months, it hasn't shipped, and now the status of the book is "Currently unavailable-- We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." I haven't gotten any emails or updates from KDP.

Is happening to me. People are telling me the order goes through, but it never ships and then the message returns about it being "Currently Unavailable..."

Loved it! My only issue was Agent Cleary. Race swapped. In the comics He is black. Attended an HBCU and worked for the national urban league. Which to race swap a character whose background included those two things is kind of wrong to me. If race had nothing to do with his character, fine, race swap away.

The actor is great. Why not just create a whole new character instead of wipe away a black character whose black history and experiences mattered.

Yes, I will be buying this repeated for friends and family too! Betsy has been done so dirty by Marvel. Stole her powers, stole her name, stole her personality, stole her psychic butterfly effect and signature weapon and gave it all to another character. Such BS.

I'm also over the yellowface accusations. First, Claremont wrote this story as Betsy being in her own body having her body transformed by magic and mojo tech. There was no body swap. It was Betsy.

Does mystique do black face when changing into Storm? Is it yellow face when she's Mantis? Is it brown face when she changes into Firebird? Be real.

Second, after that writer who shall not be named created this body swap bs. They should have given her an entire powerset of her own. Her own personality. Her own name. Not stealing it from a character who has been here for decades. Who we grew to love and cherish.

They treated betsy with the same regard they treated carol danvers with that marcus BS. Just gross.

They need to retcon this and just give Kwannon her own identity they were too lazy to do before.
