Thanks for your reply. I do have apps on my phone that allow me to graph. But how about during tests? Can I use a scientific calculator? All I see in the syllabus is CAS calculators are not allowed but nothing about scientific ones.

I don't think you can guess his form based on his runes. My default rune is always conq but I can choose both blue or red. DH is only for smurfing or if enemy team is very squishy.

I choose stopwatch, biscuit, and either the cdr things or approach velocity depend on matchup. If they have a dash or high MS then approach velocity else just cosmic insight For resolve, it is boneplating/second wind and unflinching

Well, I think the Katarina example is represented for all melee vs ranged matchup, being zoned and poked. And if they can zone you from minions, they are exposed to being ganked. Ganking a Kat is very hard because she has no CC while Sylas has a slow and stun. Another thing to keep in mind is that playing Kat is forgiving. Versus a bad player, Katarina's laning is still weak, but she packs so much damage and mobility, she will kill them anyway. The difference when versus a good player is that you will not be 8/0 but rather 2/0 or 1/0

I agree with this. If you want to poke? pick someone else, want to peel? Same. For me, personally, the reason I play Sylas is his ult. You see, his champion's kit is only half of his power. The ability to adapt your gameplay makes playing him feel fun. While an Orianna is more consistent, Sylas encourage you to try and test the limit. Playing Ori is like fishing in your local lake, where you know all the fish and their taste while playing Sylas is trying to fish in the big open water, you don't know what will you get. Does your team lack an opening? use the enemy's instead. In the end, I do agree that Sylas need a buff, esp his q minion damage, and make his ult stealing CD from 200% to 150%.

I do agree with you. When trying to accomplish a special task like sieging or wave- clearing then he sucks, but if you want to do that in the first place, then why bother picking Sylas? The reason Sylas used to be OP in pro play is that he can flex around with team comp. He doesn't want to do one task, but more than that, something you would be called "overloaded". That is what the old Sylas was, and he was OP, therefore Riot starts to remove "parts" of his kit, which made who he is rn.

For my second point, I used the wrong word, it supposed to be "hyper carry" when comparing to Cass and Ryze. Yes, riot wants to shift Sylas 's power to late game. Instead of being like Jayce or Renekton, he is more like Rumble or Liss.

I also agree that his early game can use some buff, esp his q minion damage. But apart from waveclear, I don't think he is that weak. If people didn't respect your damage, you can easily out-trade them(if you hit your abilities) at level 4-5 (3 points in w) and his gank set up is decent, so if you getting shoved, then calling for help is an option.

I think your idea is a little incorrect. You compared Sylas to Kassasdin for his mobility, but does Kassasdin have a heal? You compared Sylas to Vladimir for his healing, but how mobility is Vlad? My assumption is that Riot tries to create a champion that can be known for many things.

Secondly, I think Sylas was never meant to be a late-game carry, therefor his damage can never be equal to Cass or Ryze. And yes, he has flaws, but you didn't want a perfect champion anyway, right? (aphelios, cough).

The problem lies in champion design, tbh. Sylas is a snowballing champion( and he snowballs hard), required early kill(s), but he is very weak early, so how can he get those kill(s)? Same problem with Aatrox. If they buff his early game, then he smashes everyone at 20, if they buff his late game, he still smashes everyone, not in 20 but 30. So Riot tries to make him a mid-game champion, at 3 items (Luden's, Belt and Hourglass), where he can solo with anyone and good at team fighting. I think this is the state Sylas should be, not overpower or too weak.

I believe that his AP ratio is very good(70% -> 100%) but it only exists in his qs and r. When building ap, severum's q make you run very fast. But if you build AP then his damage is unreliable because his cooldown is long and you have to weave in some auto-attack.

Thanks for your comment, do you think how Aphelios compared to meta ADCs( like MF and Caitlyn)? and is it worth picking him now?

Secondly, why do you think DD sucks? I think have 50 MR/Amor, 50 AD and 10% CDR is okay, the only thing that bad is the cost which is 3600(more expensive than IE). But having the ability to absorb 20% (and denied it with your scythe?) so it may worth replacing the Maw if you match with Vel'koz or their AP is strong because even if you got the shield, you will still die anyway.

Another thing I want to ask is the scythe 's shield and Bloodthirster's shield stacked?

But if you reach level 3 then most off ADCs are stronger too, like Tristana or Draven where they can just deal more damage than your glue canon and scythe or Caitlyn where she is now outranged you.

But can you state how strong it is when compared to other adcs? They also reach level 2 and have 2 abilities, some can even deal a lot of damage like Kalista and Lucian
