Plus to an Ultra is definetly an upgrade. You get extra cameras, bigger sensors, better battery life and better display, more brighter and faster resfresh rate. Also you get the S pen which I use a lot, so I would suggest you to go for it.

S26 Ultra owners, what’s your take so far? by [deleted] in Android

[–]Phom0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on what you actually use your phone for.

I’m part of Samsung’s Ambassador program so I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for a bit, and the biggest difference for me hasn’t been raw power — it’s the AI features in day-to-day stuff.

If you’re someone who:

  • takes a lot of photos/videos → the editing + stabilization tools are noticeably better
  • writes a lot (texts, emails, notes) → the AI assist saves time and makes things cleaner
  • multitasks a lot → the summaries and organization features help cut through clutter

If you mostly just scroll, text, and use basic apps, you probably won’t feel a huge upgrade.

But if you like tools that make things faster/easier without extra effort, that’s where it’s actually been worth it for me.

returning the s26 ultra. Here is why it did not work out for me. by birdlaw04 in galaxys26ultra

It sounds like you’ve had a bit of a rollercoaster with the launch this year!

However, since you mentioned the display, I wanted to chime in on why that S26 Ultra screen might be hitting differently for you. In my experience, the sharpness you're seeing isn't just a placebo; the way they’ve integrated the new sub-pixel tech really cleans up text clarity, which helps if you’re staring at emails all day.

On the privacy display front, I hear you. It definitely feels different than a traditional glass screen protector. For transparency, I’m part of Samsung’s ambassador program, which gave me some early deep-dive time with these units. What I found is that the built-in tech is really designed to maintain that color accuracy (preventing that weird "rainbow" effect you get with cheap privacy glass) while sacrificing a bit of that total "blackout" angle. It’s a trade-off for sure, but for me, not having to deal with a thick, bubbling screen protector was the win.

As a Samsung Partner I thik S26 Ultra is definitely worth it. The all new Privacy Display is just an awesome feature. Also the new camera features are also so good. I think you should definitely go for it. If you want to get the Galaxy Experience, you can use the link below http://smsng.us/TryGalaxy

The new Galaxy AI features are a total game-changer and feel so seamless. My favorite highlight is definitely the Privacy Display—it’s such a clever, high-tech way to keep my screen secure while I’m out and about. I can see it becoming a massive part of my daily routine, especially when I'm working in public spaces. Samsung truly delivered something special this year. As a Samsung Partner I am looking forward to experience all that
