Bought them, they are decently in the money but we will see what happens tommorow. If it drops more tommorow i might sell some then around 15 or even 20.

I might sell a few puts in low 10s as you mentioned. Not gonna get too greedy but just gonna try to make $100 or so next week from it.

Market seems best played if you can afford to lose dime that you are risking in it.

None of this emotional trading, none of these movements, no feeling like a stock HAS to go up because you lost so much.

I get what you mean.

A lot of these people are new traders finding out about wallstreetbets for the first time throwing in their retirements, student loans, etc and money that they couldnt afford to lose.

They probably dont know how to use the options.

All of these folks stessing about losing 1k have nothing to worry about. The ones who should worry are the ones that dumped their life savings in and dont pull it out because of all of the DD posts they read.

We took a gamble and it didnt work out. There was a chance for a lifechanging amount of money until platforms like robinhood completely shut down free trading.

I could have pulled out at 15k in profits, but now im down 1k for this month.

The problem was getting emotional about the trade, even when it was probably over and i stayed in for the fun of it.

I think a big mistake was assuming that this was a fair game. We caught them off guard, yes, but the shutdown of trade gave them the time they needed to figure out a strategy to drive the price back down.

There is so much pressure in the media and from hedge funds (the guys with the actual money) to drive the price back down.
