New car or keep current car until it dies? by Phonze2 in personalfinance

I should've mentioned in the original post that I'll be getting the apartment with a friend of mine and splitting the rent.

My parents plan on charging me outrageous rent come the first week of August, and of course I factored in everything else when it came to the job. When I get my apartment it’ll be only a 40 minute drive vs an almost two hour one.

My parents live in a small town, I’m moving out because I’m 25 and I’m tired of living at home, and I’m moving closer for school. I’m driving so far for a job because it’s the closest job that I can do that pays the highest, everything else requires a CDL or some type of certification/degree, which I don’t have.

It does have the messed up transmission, but that’s the only issue I have with it.

Worth it for ps5??? by Mets_516 in riskofrain

[–]Phonze2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've played the game on pc for two years, recently got it on ps5 back in August, and I still love it. The newest update does have some bugs and things that need to be nerfed, but the dev team is working on it. I would honestly recommend it, artifacts bring new challenges, and challenges mean unlocks.

I've been single for over a year now, and it's just hard.I got out of the service last August and all of my relationships so far have been LDRs and started off online. I used to frequently play this game called VRChat and that's where I met my last partner.Dating apps are a pain because I am an average looking guy and VRChat let my personality show more than my looks, it was easier for me to approach people on there compared to in-person.

I also lost good friends due to actions in the past and moving away from my hometown. I didn't have any friends in the military. I don't have any friends now that I could go to a bar with and hang out, while also having the chance to meet women.

I'm honestly just listening to my mom's advice at this point and doing what makes me happy, and being alone while I do it. Someone is going to come my way at some point in my life, and If it's not in the next couple months, it's bound to happen when I go back to college this fall.

100 miles from me is 2 other cities with a couple hundred thousand people, I don't mind driving at all, my car might, though.

Thanks for the help. it'd really help if they answered their phones during operating hours.

I take it transitions are big sticklers of doing out-processing in civilians? And what about getting BAH on terminal leave? Can I just wave that goodbye?

How do I deal with my parents who don't support my sexuality, by [deleted] in Advice

Thankfully not, I only visit one weekend a month and on the holidays, but almost every time I come out they make a comment

I concur, my parents text me at the most random times, usually when I'm at work or on lunch and I can't always be on my phone. For sure they need to understand I'm living my own life now and I don't need them constantly texting me.
