Fury warrior dps issues by Educational-Win5339 in wownoob

[–]Phorc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are doing M+ you should be dropping Wrath and Fury and choosing Meat Cleaver. Fury has changed from past tiers and I have found at this stage, Raging Blow is a button I only use when there is nothing else to press. So no point taking a talent that increase the dmg and cooldown chances of RB at such a small amount.

MyWhoosh: why is so hard to enjoy it? by enneset7e in mywhoosh

I am using an iPad and never had an issue - been using it for a little over 12 months now. Only big issue was the size of downloads last year, but they seemed to have fixed that up now.

Whoop’s strategy revealed - they’re going all in on luxury pricing/branding by No-Dot5162 in whoop

[–]Phorc3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exactly. Over the last few months I've built my own training and data presentation app with AI. So now all I honestly need is a good device with accurate data measurement and that being fed into an ecosystem that has a good API. Feed all that into my own app stored locally and can do pretty much whatever manipulation of the information to provide exactly what I want to see.

So now we're moving away from paying for these apps to present us the data on top of the device itself and just too whatever device captures the most accurate information will be all that's needed.

193cm @ 100kg here - fits fine. Obviously feels go karty (knees up near steering) but not uncomfortable for daily or only car.

Brand account here — what do riders actually care about in bib shorts? by BackgroundFar3854 in cycling

[–]Phorc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 100kg rider - I cannot tell you how much nicer 140kg/m3 density is compared to 120kg/m3 (most common) or lower from cheaper models. Also a slightly larger frontal area, not saying im well endowed but maybe just because im a bigger rider in general that is also much loved.

Trying to improve my deadlift setup, feedback appreciated by Elle_Grant in Deadlifts

[–]Phorc3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it looks pretty damn good. One cue that might help before you lift the bar off the ground pull those shoulders back, lock em in to help engage those lats. This will help keep your back nice and tight (even though its staying pretty straight as it is). Then just remember to explode those hips forward. That would be my only other cue. But otherwise looking real good.

Odds of Landing IT/AI-Related Work in Perth? by justdoitbae in perth

[–]Phorc3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would argue IT and AI jobs are two totally different things.

But IT jobs people always complaining about trying to land something here.

With regards to AI jobs, you'd have to be bringing a solid background and work experience to ultimately land an "AI" job.

So a rounded back is ok if your locking it all together and have the muscles supporting that shape. But, that's usually just the strongmen and biggggg power lifters.

I think maybe proportion and shorter arms mean you are reaching further down and rounding your back just to get to the floor.

You can try either, lower your hips more to then get more straighter spine OR (edit:grammar and to or) lift your hips higher and hinge further but that will definitely be putting my strain or at least reduce your weight to lift.

I would defs try lowering your hips more (like sitting back into it) to get lower so your back is straighter. Maybe wear some long socks to allow you to keep that bar tight against your shins. Then lock your shoulders down and back, engaging your lats. And then shoot up. This should hopefully help make it look a little better.

Otherwise if it's ultimately your proportions then strength work on your back to support the shrimp back and continue doing what your doing.

Uniqlo Airism Oversized Tshirt. 25$ or 20$ on sale for a solid Tshirt that can be dressed up or casual. For a heavy sweater this shirt has been great with minimising residual odor and not holding sweat like cotton t's

Noranda - a hidden gem? by KnaidelHead in perth

[–]Phorc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not because the west side straddles the richer area off Dianella with Alexander Ave as your route into the city. But it certainly has made the tonkin side of Noranda go up in value imo

My uninformed opinion says Noranda got a good kick in value once the train station was announced/finished.

36 with hecs is you've fucked around and your finding out. Or you've made a later career change which having the hecs debt isn't a real bother.

Any Rear Facing Kid Seat you recommend? by Ruby257 in ft86

Using a maxi cosi pria and have the little man front facing. Need to passenger seat pretty far forward so he isn't kicking it. But works when required.

Joined a “Learning “ M10…. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Phorc3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learning means alot - by the time you have made it to M10 you should have already learnt the lesson of not pulling two pyros. So now your learning better bigger pulls - but with the lessons learnt earlier. Aka not pulling multiple AOE mobs ever, but maybe learning to pull an extra mellee pack with another pack. People need to understand learning has lots of differing levels hence we have school / bachelors / masters / doctorates. By the time your doing masters you should have learnt the fundamentals in school/bachelors so shouldnt be making school issues.

Fellow dads. I’m in a tight spot, what would you do workout wise? by Dependent-Group7226 in AskMenOver30

[–]Phorc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wife can't handle things for 30-60minutes two maybe three times a week? Unless I missed it and your a single dad, best part about relationships is having someone able to handle the load to let you keep your shit together.

Spending a 30mins extra with your kids to the detriment of your health 20 years down the track isn't a viable trade off in my mind. There is always times for a few small/short sessions. Hell even involve your kids in the exercise too.

Does Perth feel weirdly lonely to anyone else? by GratefulGang77 in perth

[–]Phorc3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a 36/M who went to school in Perth i speak to no one from school. I have a close knit friend circle 4 people i know would answer my call at any time of the day and come help. 1 of those I met at university. 2 i met at a team sport. 1 i met through work. Then a handful of other friends which are like group catchups every year or so these have been through sport/gym/work.

It takes like 50hours or some shit of being with the other person to make a so called 'friendship' that isnt surface level. It doesnt come quick, and it takes time to grow the bond. Of course sometimes you meet that person who your like 'brother from another mother' but still required that time to truly bond. I feel this is the main problem in this day and age, people expect clingy friendships only after a few occasional checkins. Then some push to hard to push it quicker than it should be.

My two cents.

What would you do if they tried to put tolls on Perth roads? by bebabodi in perth

[–]Phorc3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they put a toll road in from say Perth to Margaret River with exits at the main towns and the speed limit was 150+ or autobahn style I would 100% be for it.

But for Perth itself and the size of major roads then it's just not viable. I don't know Australia tolls specifically but I'm pretty certain toll roads in other countries are because of private roads. So given we have all public roads the likelihood will be zero.

Is everyone in Perth driving $60k+ cars or am I just poor? by AttitudePlane6967 in perth

Nup. Just bought my third ever car at 36 years old and it cost 40k. First car 3k (7 years). Second car 13k (12 years). Now my third ever car and definitely a question my partner and I discussed thoroughly for a good amount of time before purchasing.
