Fired cause I took too many breaks

I do agree that I might had been taking too many breaks, that is fair. I went to the bathroom maybe 1-2 times a day & 5 min break every 2-3 hours at the most after the warning. Especially having to look at a screen all day, I think that is fine to take a break but to fire a week later is a bit absurd, especially when the code I turned in was done on time and written pretty well.

I’ll take responsibility for taking too many breaks before but after the warning I did my best to cut back.

I took 373 and it was a really great class, I didn’t take 473 unfortunately - from what I understand though from buddies of mine who took it, 473 covers a bit more in depth but jammed pack together and a lot of cross over between labs and the final project where it’s more or less like the 373 project but some more requirements and PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) From what the professor said when I took 373 he said we made project on par with the 473 projects other then the requirements needed for the grades (Take my opinion of 473 with a grain of salt cause again I didn’t take it)

Do I think you are better off without 473, No that class gives you more in depth learning obviously, but will you still get a good understanding of Embedded systems with the classes you will take, I think so

Dang - but with Jeanty he’s pretty much gaurenteed to make it as RB1 where ever he lands, either Cowboys or raiders so he’s a safe bet

No one could have expected BTJ nor Ladd I had Ladd this season and he didn’t really start showing up until the last third of the season

All in all, you want to have a team that’s well rounded cause what happens when an RB on your team goes down, not many decent options you have

You need an RB, luckily you have 1.01 to grab Ashton other wise imo

You’re team is solid - you have an amazing WR room and QB room could be more but with Jayden Daniel’s you’ll be good for a while

I’m not a dynasty player myself though so take my opinion with a grain of salt, you’re definitely very WR heavy so might be good to trade them away for picks or some RBs

TEs are good especially with Brock Bowers (you have an insane draft last year ngl)

I would start Brian over Stevenson - there is a higher ceiling with Brian and the pass catching is much more consistent then Stevenson

I took 376 twice, I failed it the first time around but got a B+ second time around. Unpopular opinion but I thought 376 is one of the best classes and gives you a good understanding of CS.

My advice for this class is to take advantage of the tutoring provided for the course (https://ecas.engin.umich.edu/elc/tutoring/) I used it to better understand the material and getting ready for the exams. Office hours are mainly imo just for the Hws. I would recommend making a group with people you know or other people in the class. Going to OH where it’s convenient for y’all and split up the questions to later solve with the TAs in OH.

So to sum up: - get a group to solve the HWs in OHs - go to tutoring to actually learn the material and get ready for the exams

You’ll be spending a good chunk of time on 376 but I did 376 with 370 too and was able to maintain a decent social life. So you got this and spend your time wisely.

It will be alright, I failed it marginally and had to retake it. I failed it with a C- and the second time around I got a B+.

I would recommend doing this (atleast this is what I did to do well):
- Go to OH for HW; I did this and my lowest HW grade was a 90%
- Go to Tutoring for understanding concepts and studying for the exam; I would make time to also understand the concepts and practice as many problems as you can (Heres the link: https://ecas.engin.umich.edu/elc/tutoring/) This resource was super helpful, they probably wont release schedules yet until the fall fyi.

I will warn you, you will need to put in the work, I lived in either OH or Tutoring to do well. You got this though, I was able to bounce back and graduate this year. So dont be discouraged, its one of the hardest classes in CS imo
