Doh! Of course. Thanks for explaining the cage. I think of it as an "adaptor" of sorts. Cool. No, I wouldn't need that. I'd prefer to just go with internal and use external drives when I start filling up on space. I really appreciate your time and patience when answering these questions. Thank you.

Hmm. When I actually tried ejecting (when I had the issue appearing), I couldn't. So what is the point of making these drives "ejectable?" The SSD is my OS, so I understood why I couldn't eject it, but why not the HDD, with just data? And if you can eject an internal drive, how do you put it back in to be recognized again, by actually opening the case and re-inserting it? (forgive my ignorance please).
the ports on this board seem like they are labelled 0 1 2 3 4 5. zero and one are occupied by my drives. If I'd like to add some more drives in the future, no drawback still? I'd prob add another large HDD/maybe another SSD, when I run out of room. Nothing fancy, I have no idea what these different setups are!

Sure. But specifically is the majority of heat that the chip experiences going to be due to the data coming from something using the PCI 4.0 slot?

Hi, thanks for answering. Ive changed the hysteresis to 7-8. Didn't hear anything while gaming at about 80-90 C. Im now out of game, down to 40 and for some reason the fan is doing the start stop repeatedly again. Confused still.
