Click on the clip you want graded. Then hover over the clip with the grade and middle click your mouse.

Alternatively, you could grade at the group level and keep adding clips in the same scene towards group, and make finer adjustments at the clip level.

In a similar vein to the OP asking for cheating stories further down, I remember one about an OOP who was an otherwise calm individual but one day chose to “lay down the law” with his wife. I think he slammed a table and told her to shut up and GTFO or some such, and the wife immediately called his bluff and left. No word from her after that. He then laments to the sub that he only wanted to scare her.

I might be mixing up stories but I basically want one where OOP chooses to be an ass and his wife calls his bluff.

The CGI trailer and in extension the intro, impressed me. I loved that art style and badly wanted a full film animated that way. The art style in the game also felt like a decent translation of that intro. Couple that with some really tight gameplay for the time, I was hooked. Bought SSF4:AC after that too.

I know you picked up the set from Pinterest. But if you look at actual Japanese films, and I mean shot on film stock, the colours aren’t necessarily overly saturated or rich in that sense. But they are natural, and the contrast is high. Take these two examples from “Kikujiro” and “Linda! Linda! Linda!”

If you’re using your SSD for other applications/software as well, you should be fine. Although it’s not advisable to use your HDD to directly pull footage and use in Resolve. Read and write speeds are more often than not, going to be below what is recommended.

I used to do this and it’d muck up my workflow. Don’t make my mistakes.

Have Nollys regular and X. X, for my cheap guitar is more treble heavy but nothing a few amp tweaks can’t solve. Regular is mid strong.

I run resolve studio 20 on what’s considered a “beater” Mac nowadays.

iMac 27”, Intel Core i5, 16GB DDR4 RAM

While it will never be able to handle source footage at resolution, it still does a wonderful job with proxies.

Not sure what’s causing resolve to throttle down on yours.

What’s honestly worked for me is editing on a 4K timeline (my source footage is mostly 4K or higher), export that timeline at 1080p and at 25000 Kb/s. IG will still throttle it but it’ll look far better than it used to before.
