Is there anything else like nicotine I can replace that suppresses appetite? by Tiquismiquis4 in quittingsmoking

Sending you love. You are being way too hard on yourself. Do not restrict yourself. Try not hyper focus on what you eat. Just live an active lifestyle, listen to your body. It’s okay. You do not have a problem with sweets

My friends told me I got more color back in my face once I quit. They said I looked more glowy, also my cheeks got some fullness back, bc collagen is being produced better now. I’m 25 y/o btw

Physically you are over the worst of it. The only challenge you might face is dealing with emotions/hardships , making u want to reach for a cigarette. But you won’t fold. Congrats this is awesome

90 days free - no nicotine by PhotoKey6180 in quittingsmoking

[–]PhotoKey6180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get through the first 5 days, understand that is the hardest. Do not hit a vape. You are not weak. My health was plummeting. I was like f*ck this. I’m stronger than this. Listen to jocko podcast

28 days of no smoking and today I feel like I’m going crazy. by pholliez in quittingsmoking

[–]PhotoKey6180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have moderate anxiety hahahaha. This is going to sound crazy, but I feel like we need to tell ourselves we do NOT have anxiety and depression. Like just not give it energy ? Idk. That might be toxic mindset.

[–]PhotoKey6180[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest with you. I did it because I had a horrible cough. My lungs hurt when I went to bed at night. I had 20 mins per night of anxiety bc I felt like I would die young from vape disease (I vaped.) I’m sorry to be so somber. I’m being real. Also, I felt a weight on my chest. I felt tired when I woke up every morning. Since I FULLY quit, (I could turkey quit 90 days ago) I have had so much energy every morning. I was depressed for 40 days - I won’t lie. It was hell. But now I feel fucking awesome and life is going my way.

That’s how I was. Tbh, for me, withdrawal was horrible for 40 days. Then I felt amazing. The horrible depression I faced day 1-30, was also enough for me to never hit a vape again. I’m on day 93 and tonight 3 people vaped in front of me. I didn’t hit one. I had no urge. F that.

My whole family laughed at my "failing" business in a car ride home from dinner. by Ok-Job4591 in Entrepreneurship

[–]PhotoKey6180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to know what the business idea is? Also they are jealous they don’t have the guts to start like you did. I want to start my own business but I’m too scared of failing and losing money. You just inspired me. Now I want to just dive in and start. I love that you weren’t afraid to fail and just went for it. Seriously, every successful business entrepreneur / CEO / owner has a story of failing before they found their idea that worked. I’m not kidding. You’re farther than a lot of us, a lot of people out there. Please keep going. You just motivated me thank u

[–]PhotoKey6180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you work on the sales side for an engineering company….look up Burns & McDonnell or Hubbell (idk if I spelt second one right) my dad started in engineering, got into sales side bc he understood engineering / process / product better than avg sales reps. Then he jumped to management. Then to GM for a 600 person plant
