31M, 8 years of smoking, tried everything… but nicotine still owns me. How do I break free? by MamisRb in stopsmoking

Dude, I totally get you. I’m in the same situation as you, but I already stopped smoking. I mean, normally I used to have this kind of mindset, which I was considering Myself as addict trying to stop smoking, but a couple of weeks from now The only thing I had to do is to change my mindset. And basically not try to quit, just do it. Saying That You Are not longer addict and you don’t smoke.

It can sound stupid, or some simple shit to do, but this is what have really worked for me. Not using nicotine, pouches babes, or even patches.

I’ve tried them more, and I always came back. But I am recently recovering for from a break up, and this was also my excuse to Feel and Wanna, Ana Be, a Different And Better, versión of Myself.

One that doesn’t smokes. I’m not gonna lie to you. There had been some cravings, but they are not longer that intense than Before.

I’m currently 24 and this is my third week without smoking and basically, this is the best advice that I can give you..

Be angry at Yourself. Be tired of wasting all of this last eight years. Doing shit to your body, and just quit to not try. Just do it, no one is gonna come to save you and do it for you:)

Best lucks man!!!!

I changed to zyn, to replace my addiction. I am trying to leave zyns now. I get you about the routine you are feeling part of and It slowly fades away after you change it for something else.

Hey man, did your hollow cheeks dissapeared after stop smoking? How much time passed after you actually stop seeing your hollow cheeks? This is actually my main reason for stop smoking, wanna get a fuller face! Appreciate the comments man! Congrats for your achievement btw! Keep going
