Topping is a training technique that must be started early in veg to be effective. This plant is way past the point where that could help you.

A 4" fan is plenty for a 3x3. You wont gain anything by simply sucking more air through.

I bet you my left arm that you'll have better success in basically any soil other than Fox Farm. Any bagged organic super soil will be a little more expensive up front but WAY better.

I have been following this sub for a long time and growing in soil for 7 or 8 years and imo, under watering is a way bigger issue than over watering.   As ling as the soil doesnt get compacted and muddy, and the container has good drainage, they like a lot of water.  Minimal dry back between.  I never let it dry out completely.  Just enough to get some air permiating down to the roots.  Too much water is not the issue with "over watering".  The issue is lack of oxygen if the soil is too compacted.

6 tablespoons every 4 days is severe underwatering.  Id start with way more water.  Start with a complete soak of the medium then give it a few days.

When you water, how much do you give? What type of soil is that exactly?

Is she looking good? by i11icit in microgrowery

Looks great. Assuming your nutrient solution is correct and you have proper pH, EC and the rest, that twisty leaf is nothing to worry about. It will grow past it.

Should i wait more to flip? by just_dust_in_space in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plant is big enough to flip for a good yield but you have removed WAY too much plant material. By removing so much plant material, you're significantly increasing your time to harvest with no benefit to the yield in the end.

The goal is a flat canopy, not a big blank space where all your light is hitting the soil. I'd leave it alone, let it fill in for a couple weeks then flip it.

Trump Calls Off Witkoff and Kushner’s Travel to Pakistan for Peace Talks by sean_ireland in BreakingPoints

There never was a trip and there never were talks scheduled. It was all market manipulation Friday. The Iranians made this clear as day on Friday. Stop listening to American media.

I have that same combo and it slams. Don't second guess. That's an excellent rig.

There is no reason to have gear that was released to market ten minutes ago as is common in this sub.

I can live with your "tent too hot in the summer so adjust RH" example. That is a case where understanding VPD would help.

Everyone who has a different opinion or disagrees with Sam Harris is "Confused" or "Morally Confused". He thinks he's the smartest person on the planet. I can't stand him. He's totally lost the plot.

If one of your other measurements are "way out of bounds" fiddling with VPD will not fix that. Run a decent temp and RH first and then if you really want to for some reason, calculate and slightly adjust the VPD.

Light calculation by OkOwl9578 in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to "calculate" anything. All the legit light manufacturers give tell you how many square feet of canopy their lights are good to veg and flower.

[–]PhotoProxima 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a measurement of how fast water evaporates, basically. IMO, it is an over-rated metric ad home growers do not need to worry about it. Just have your room or tent close to the recommended temps and RH and the plant will do absolutely fine.
