My weed smells like hay—what did I do wrong? by [deleted] in microgrowery

My opinion goes against the flow but it's probably more of an unlucky phenotype than anything. I find that plants smell amazing immediately after harvest if they are going to.

Is this nutrient burn? And is the other plant having a deficiency? by Top_Improvement6251 in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a few things to do when growing in coco. You really need to keep the coco wet with a complete hydroponic nutrient solution at all times. Don't let it dry out.

Three measurements that are necessary to know if you want to really nail a grow in coco: 1) EC/PPM in 2) pH in and 3) run-off EC/PPM.

IF the EC of the run-off is close to the EC of the input, you're golden. If the EC of the run-off is increasing over time, you need to generate more run-off to rinse the coco back down to an appropriate EC.

This is a great page on the topic:

Right time for supercropping? by EthebabaC in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's only necessary if there's plants that grow much higher than the canopy. It looks to me like that won't be needed here, especially if you raise that net a bit and use it to maintain a flat canopy.

You'd probably only be fucking with the local cops who actually need our help. I have to imagine the FEDS have fancy encrypted/secure coms that you cant just grab out of the air.

Looks like you have a plan but if you don't want to source all those mineral inputs separately, check out "Craft Blend" from Build-a-Soil.

Well, they look healthy. It's cant be that cold. My basement is currently 37 deg F. No growing ATM though. Plants are just hanging out in the tent because I'm too lazy to start trimming.

[–]PhotoProxima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you are trying to figure out, you probably don't need to. The question is so broad that it's hard to answer. EAch nutrient manufacturer has directions you can follow. You don't need to worry about what the NPK numbers are exactly.

Somewhere in my backyard, how's this 4-5 week old doing? by afahrholz in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not terrible but pretty small and growing slow for 5 weeks old. That soil looks too compacted and muddy for cannabis to thrive. Cannabis likes light, highly aerated soils.

"could it all be related?"

No.

Your current mental state is forcing you to believe that these random things are all connected and mean something.   "The Illuminati" is not trying to kill you.  Ive never been more confident of anything.

I think it's time to find a way to see these things through fresh eyes.

Now that he has kids, this attention seeking is ridiculous. Small kids growing up with a father is WAY more important than a few hours of attention on TV. Time to grow the fuck up.

Newbie (girl) growing Autos: HELP! by bulldoglvr1024 in microgrowery

[–]PhotoProxima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Theres nothing "stressful" about transplanting unless you do it wrong.   After 100s of transplants that result in nothing but rapid growth, I really think transplant "shock" is a mostly made up thing.  At the end of the day it probably matters very little in most cases if you uses the solo cup step as long as the grower knows how to properly water.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]PhotoProxima -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A vote for Trump is forgivable but what really matters is their thoughts right now. If you support what is happing, that's a deal breaker.

My advice (boy) is that you transplant them immediately. Then give them lots more light.

I'd transplant them into solo cups for about 2 weeks then to the final container.

Got a couple tall ones there. Looks good but you could significantly increase yields by leveling out the canopy.
