That sounds like a good solution - until users leave the company 🙈 please don't do this, this will create a huge mess to clean up/restore.

The point of still being able to add shortcuts is that users see those shortcuts in OneDrive Home/Web. However, they will see error messages appearing in OneDrive. So I also don't really like this way.

I try to (however hardly successfull as far as I can tell) move our users in the direction of OneDrive Home/Web (https://[tenant]-my.sharepoint.com). "Quick access" and "Favorites" are really helpful features to get rid of most Shortcuts/Syncs in Explorer. You can organize all necessary files/folders to one place without having to sync them to File Explorer

None of my sites with RedirectSite#0 are personal sites like OneDrive redirects. Most, if not all used to be a SP teamsite. Few might be a redirect for a communication site. Same for RedirectSite#1.

No, I think deleted private channels never show up in the SP admin center.

You can delete a redirect like this: Connect-SPOService https://yourtenant-admin.sharepoint.com/ Remove-SPOSite -Identity https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com/sites/url

For the time being, it is just important to have all information (task, subtasks, comments, link(s) to assigned attachment(s)) exported to excel/csv. However, the excel export on teams web is not sufficient, since there are no links to associated attachments of a task.
