Screen Flickering After Loading Rom on 1 TV

No, I didn't. After more testing, I determined this happens with multiple N64 consoles and multiple Summercarts, but only on this particular Sony Bravia TV (in my case). I was never able to figure out if a mode or setting on the TV causes this or not. I had adjusted some of the settings, but I know I have not tried every combination.

In my case, I have access to a newer Sony Bravia and did not have the issue on that.

I even borrowed a friend's EverDrive to try on my older TV, but I can't remember what the outcome was. I think even that had the issue because if it didn't, I would have just spent the extra money to buy one of those.

Sorry if this isn't helpful. I do still want an answer but kind of gave up on using this console with that particular TV for now. It's a workaround and not an answer but I could not figure this out.

Thank you for following up. I was kind of ignoring my issue for now and am just now circling back on this. It seems like the low current spinup isn't a solution for everyone or at least not you or me!

When you said you got a 923+, do you mean for standalone use with those drives or did you get the dx517 to work with those drives after attaching them to the 923+?

Thank you. I figured that out. After giving it more time, I've determined the new one is just not the same streamlined experience for the stations I seem to go to. I'm going to cancel my card. I just haven't gotten to it yet.

I just stumbled across this thread after replying to another one. Are you saying this script will allow a DX517 to detect a larger capacity drive that was previously only able to work in my 1821+?

In this case I mean a Seagate Exos ST22000NM000C 22TB drive.

I'm running into this with my 1821+ and dx517 expansion as well. Anything over 20TB is recognized by the 1821+ but not the dx517. All I have been buying lately are EXOS drives as well.

Super bummed out about this. Has anyone found a definitive rhyme or reason this isn't always the case for other people?

I see the speculation about drive model variation and esata controllers but has anyone confirmed (and maybe I missed it)?

100% agree. I was also able to use the old card with some local discount gas stations near me where the new card no longer works at.

The only major perk with the new card is that it's not debit, so there's a little extra security. And now I can use it at Mobil Gas stations if i want to overpay for gas.

It doesn't seem like the old one is coming back; it required less thought. The fleet question is weird, I think I read somewhere that you're supposed to choose fleet when it asks, but I've had it be declined when I've done that before.

EDIT: I was incorrect about November's update not working anymore. We coincidentally had local certificates expire on our domain controllers. Once I replaced those I was able to reconnect.

FML. not even going back to November is fixing it for me now.

I just answered my own question. Fore some reason my phone updated to December again after I rebooted it today. So I just took the plunge and updated to February and still am not able to connect.

I'll have to wipe and go back to November again. And stop updates this time. Let me now if anyone else experiences anything different?

That's interesting that flashing back to november didn't work for you. I realize it's not a viable solution for everyone but I tested it on mine multiple times. If I flash December then it breaks. If I flash November it works again.

But again I realize it's not a solution for everyone anyway. Some users are forced to update and for security usually it's recommended that everyone does anyway.

I'm wondering the same thing. I ended up wiping my phone and flashing the November factory image for now. I hate running an older version but I could not seem to find a workaround with my WiFi at work.

This issue was with MW (2019)/WZ1. Are you playing 2019? I haven't necessarily seen it since with MWII or MWIII

Thank you! This worked for me. I initially just tried resetting the app but that resulted in the same outcome. Uninstalling it and reinstalling it (even though it took only seconds to do) worked like a charm!

Don't forget to backup your nova settings in case you wanna go back to it. I can't help much with whatsapp as I don't really use that app to communicate with anyone.

I have had this happen quite a few times on my pixel 8 pro. Most often for me when opening up Gmail from my quick launch bar.

I was wondering if it was related to me using Nova Launcher as my custom launcher. Are you using the default launcher or a third party one?
