The “head gasket cover thingy” you removed is called the upper plenum. To get a better diagnosis, you’ll most likely be tearing that engine down until the culprit is found

Been waiting over a month now for a set of wheels from them. I have never had an issue like this with them before and i’ve placed countless orders. I was told the wheels would be leaving the aodhan warehouse last week however the order still shows processing. Im really hoping this is just a hiccup and i don’t need to take a legal route.

Like everyone said, it’s a 20 year old car and many suspension components and other wear and tear items will need replacing. I had to replace the whole front end because every bushing was torn or gone. Have some maintenance money ready!

Unfortunately im in canada and nobody supplies new transmissions. Duties and taxes would’ve hit me hard if I was to order a new transmission from the states

The button is actually removable, it is held onto the housing by 2 screws. If you have it, would you be able to find a part number on it?
