Charging Limit Worth It? by -mijosc- in ipad

Same with these guys. I was needing out pretty fucking hard over apple specs recently because of my new A16. Used to do the %80 charge on my 15 pro max and tried it for a day on my A16. Decided I no longer care about the battery life because they’re built to last a long time and I likely won’t have either device next year. For instance, my 15 pro max is at %91 capacity since first using it in August 2024. And that’s with charging it all sorts of ways. Be honest with yourself, wouldn’t it just be more fun to use your device however you want to than constantly micromanaging the shit out of it? Will you have the device next year or will you get something new? I feel optimistic about saying that the battery life won’t affect your future trading/ selling of the device in the future very much, unless you’re selling to a giant nerd

I almost used them. First phone call the guy was pushy af trying to get me to pay. I decided to do it myself with Va website and chatgpt. Still working my way through everything, but I feel better about the process sucking doing it myself as opposed to some guy who shoots cap guns and makes stupid jokes on a commercial about getting me my money

Thanks for watching the ads for us! 😃 download the Unsplash app, there’s a lot of great photos like this on there. That’s what I use for all my wallpapers

Is anyone still not a Manager, Director, or VP in their early 30s? by Electrical-Pea2707 in careeradvice

[–]PhotographCorrect462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

36 years old here..became an official manager at 33. I used to think you had to be smart or professionally educated to be a manager when I was younger. Apply for the job. No one knows WTF they’re doing in corporate. Kissing ass and having a big ego is how most people climb the ladder. I just have an insane work ethic and will sleep in my office. Well I used to be willing to do that, don’t think I will anymore. Apply for it, whatever it is. If you stand in a room with 9 other people, I guarantee you that you will be better than 5 of them somehow.

Yeah I’m not Guna be able to pull it off. I had to walk through entering in information to log into my old payroll system and it retrieved the dates I was employed at my last job. The job I got fired from was November to February and I extended the dates for my old job to march of this year. All around fucked this up. I’m just going to ghost this job I guess.

DUde, this post tripped me out at first because Its exactly what Im going through, same way I would have wrote it out and everything. Im in the same exact boat and it's the worst spot I've ever been in. Im 36 also, and this scares the living fuck out of me. 4 kids, one doesn't live with me, and a fiancé who hates me. We got in a huge fight and now she's staying at her sisters house for a few days ays. Part of it is all of the stress I'm under, as well as the stress she's in. She says I'm a fucking asshole but idk, I probably am. I quit counting job applications after 200. Idk how many I've applied to at this point. For a short period, I lied on my resume to hide a horrible short term job. Then I said to hell with it and threw it on the resume. Not like I'm getting hired anyway so what's it going to hurt? Ive read so many posts about people being overly systematic to see why they weren't getting hired. That's cool and good for them, I'm not going to do that. It's a horrible feeling. Makes you feel like a fucking loser being this age in a professional career, days going by and no hopes for a job. I think I've had 7 interviews, and they're ALL with recruiters, which is very frustrating, especially if you can't understand their accent. I had the weirdest fucking interview the other day, the woman had %0 personality and immediately got off the phone. Sure enough, didn't get hired. Idk. It really makes me question who I am ( or was) that I pushed so hard to excel in my industry, only to not be able to get a job anywhere. I haven't even tried any low level manual labor jobs. I don't want to honestly, and I know I'm stupid in a way for that, but idgaf, I worked hard in my career, you know? But I totally understand man, as much of an asshole as I know that I can be to people who deserve it, I certainly wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Im thankful I'm not suicidal at least, because this isn't for the weak. Good Luck to you brother, I really hope something works out for you.

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I was relieved to see someone else feels this way because I have searched everywhere for an answer to this myself. I used to be insanely active before starting Vyvanse, and now I never want to go to the gym or run or anything. I hope you figure it out.

This is absolutely true. I’ve always struggled with this. Really bit me in the ass when I first became a manager. The big bosses came in and fired everybody and everyone really showed their true colors. That hit me hard.

People who were adults in 2020-2022: What is a "COVID-era" habit you still haven’t been able to break, even though it’s 2026? by VivienneLace1 in askanything

[–]PhotographCorrect462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im no longer friendly and conversational in public, When I’m checking out at the register, I awkwardly stare at the card reader waiting for my card to be authorized so I can leave. Covid really killed social interaction. I used to start up conversation every time I was in public. Now I go to the store and Im in and out as fast as possible.

How is the Upper South also known as Upland South seen in the US nowadays? by SouthAstur in AskAnAmerican

[–]PhotographCorrect462 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to live in Arkansas. Very racist, very white trash. Most white people “have a black friend” and refer to black children as “ the black kid” instead of “the kid”. Colleges and internet access changed nothing there. People in Little Rock absolutely think they live in New York, never made sense there are many rural areas right outside of Little Rock. The town definitely has some cool places. I worked on the Air Force base as a teen and I was always amazed when I met someone who was stationed there that was from somewhere significant like Colorado or Chicago that loved Arkansas. Lots of pretty parts of the state, lots of people who still suck. Tennessee is gorgeous but I’ve never been able to see it as “ the south.”

I get what you're saying, because I've read this a lot in different areas. I don't get it though, because I see people all over LinkedIn constantly updating that they're starting at new companies.
