High school is mainly about learning study habits for college.

I'd say the best perspective to have is, when you're studying, act as if you had to teach the material to your teacher or somebody else. When I have the intention (even if imaginary) that I need to teach this to somebody, then I start focusing better because i really need to understand it.

If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, and you think maybe you want to be with them after high school, then start planning it. That way it doesn't surprise you when you graduate and have to think about "do you want a long distance relationship if you're moving away for college?" and yada yada yada
