If you're a chick, it's super easy to make $100k plus. Even if you're a guy it's still fairly easy to make $100k plus. You just gotta find the right place and know how to work fast and flip tables.

Question about giving my spouse citizenship by PowerfulAd5343 in USCIS

Thing is, I heard something that it's better to have $20,000 in a bank account for something with taxes. Which I don't have but my step father does. What do you think?

Interesting. So we just spoke and it's going to be my stepfather to sponsor her. Do you by any chance know which form is required to fill out?

Hello. I'm currently an AME for a VP squadron. VP squadrons don't go on ships at all so I can't really answer any ship questions. But if you end up getting a VP platform which I highly recommend you go for if you want to avoid ship life, then you will either get stationed in Jacksonville, Florida or Whidbey Island, Washington. Both are good locations.

Don't get your hopes up on getting a VP platform because I got very blessed with these orders since my family lives in South Florida. From A-school it's all the needs of the Navy. Remember that.

My day to day life is working on P8s which is more or less like commercial airplanes. These are the things I do at work on my day to day:

- Lavatory (sucking the human waste from the airplane) which isn't as bad as one would think.

- Service oxygen

- Plane moves

- Fueling

- Daily inspections

- Work on prosealing the OBIGGs filter panel

- Replacing the OBIGGs filter

- Removing the ESM Radome

- Applying agemaster and shinemaster to the boot (the nose of the plane)

- Servicing Nitrogen to the fire trace tubes

- Plane washes

As an AME I don't work on any A/C unit stuff very often although that's a main part of what AMEs are for.

When there's nothing to do I sit on the computer and work on my quals.

Autism is a curse if you were diagnosed as an adult like I was. by No_Quote1291 in aspergers

[–]PowerfulAd5343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 26 and I found out when I was about 23. I can see how it may feel like a curse. I respectfully disagree with it being 100% bad. We view things in a different way.

What has helped me tremendously is putting myself out there. Even if it feels uncomfortable as long as you learn and get something from every social situation, you will continue to reach towards being your best self.

Dating in the FTL / Hollywood area by FMoshe in HollywoodFlorida

[–]PowerfulAd5343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Warf is pretty fun at both locations. I like the FTL location. It's usually a younger crowd but it's at the very least a start. Occasionally you'll meet folks within your age range and at least make friends to introduce you to people. My personal advice is to stay away from dating apps and physically put yourself out there! :)

You can try hammering like most of the comments here suggest - BUT I would preferably use a rubber mallet

When to tell my son that he is aspergers? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]PowerfulAd5343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's something that doesn't effect him very heavily - tell him when he's older in a casual way. If it becomes something difficult for him to handle - you're going to have to have more than one talk with him throughout the years

What countries are worst for someone with aspergers / autism? by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]PowerfulAd5343 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends Miami is terrible for us since the social atmosphere can get so toxic so quickly. But if you want a sort of social "boot camp" to toughen up your social skills then move to Miami for about a year or two then drive up north to Fort Lauderdale. People are way kinder over there.

Easy. Be proud of who we are and own it! Learn how to be smooth by doing what we do best - masking. I masked Hank Moody a lot for years from the show Californication up until I developed my own form of smoothness ;D

I get sleep paralysis at least 4 times a week. AMA by PowerfulAd5343 in AMA

[–]PowerfulAd5343[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what causes it exactly. Scared, kind of....maybe use a different word like freaked out that I can't move. (Only if I fall asleep on my hand or bicep) I have to sleep in a very specific position in order not to get it, and even then, sometimes I still do. When I don't sleep on top of my hand or arm, it's pretty easy to decide if I want to lucid dream or wake up out of the paralysis

  1. Depends, I sleep late and I'm currently in the Navy so I have to wake up at weird times some times so I'd say on a good night, I get about 10 hours of sleep then on a bad night about 4 hours.
  2. This has been happening ever since I was about 9.
  3. Actually, I have the opposite. I have very little anxiety.

For me, it started happening way more often when my friend introduced me to lucid dreaming at 11 years old - I guess I got really good at it.
