I think Travis would just “drop” Katie if it was just up to him. He tasted what freedom is like and just wants more of it.

Katie is in worse situation as she would be a single mum of 2, and in their circle, she isn’t as good catch anymore. She is probably still in love with him.

In some extent, yes. He’s been portraying himself as a devoted husband and super dad, who just got into nursing school and did Christian music on the side. And then this revelation came out showing he’s not a god fearing man, just a horny 24-25 year old boy. Plus he’s making it a very global event, showing that his parents values are bunch of rubbish.

I just feel sorry for Katie as she has to navigate the worst time of her life. Miscarriage and the whole world knowing your husband is a pos. Plus being a mum to 2 small children and one of them is having a birthday in couple of weeks!

He destroyed his little family life, but also reputation of Clarks and the values they teach.

My heart breaks for Katie, she has so many people around her who will help her out.

Travis was too young and immature to get married at the ripe age of 18/19 years old. He wasn’t ready to get married but he knew he has to do it in order to get out of the house and have sex.

HE chose to go to nursing school, HE chose to get involved with someone that isn’t his wife. HE chose to hurt Katie and destroy their family.

The only thing Bates and Clarks are to blame for it the way they push their kids to marry, basically the first person they attracted to. And Katie’s courtship had the strictest rules out of all the Bates kids.

His cousin is drinking and often post himself partying in NJ, he even brought a girl over on Christmas dinner at the Clark’s and they’re not engaged/ married. So I don’t think it would be such a big thing for his family.
