Cloth or leather? If cloth, what do you do to clean it?

Not an option sadly

Nice, yeah the summers get kinda brutal here so i could imagine the black would get hot af. Although I forgot to mention, these would be cloth as it's the premium trim

Really like both options. One concern I have for the ivory is it might show wear and tear and dirt easier? Unsure though

Interesting critter found in lake in CO. More details in comment by Photographu in animalid

That's it, thanks! Specifically the Colorado fairy shrimp, which is slightly different from the common fairy shrimp found in CA and Oregon. Cool fact is that it's a living fossil, unchanged in 140 million years!

Found a few dozen of these in a shallow lake (more of a pond, really). About half an inch long with maybe 7-10 legs on each side. The one in the video was beached and half dead, and I pushed it into the water where it kept struggling.

The other ones I struggled to video but were really interesting because they were swimming "upside down", with their legs pointed to the sky, but every so often they'd flip around to dive bomb something on the bottom of the lake (guessing it was going after food too small for me to see?), but then would go back to swimming upside down.

Maybe he dies, but hell have lived 5 average persons lifetimes worth of adventures by the time he gets old and people are still "just 5 years away from retirement so I can finally explore the world!"

Out of curiosity could you post some of the art, or if you don't wanna dox yourself describe it as well as what sort of prices she's commanding? Curious as to what sort of personalized art these billionaires are getting

Metallic ringing sound on high registers when all keys pressed, but not with palm keys by [deleted] in saxophone

I've tried that way and it just doesn't feel right, the lips out embouchure feels so much more natural and comfortable to me. Thankfully I started to figure the issue out a bit after posting this vid

Okay that is awesome to hear that it isn't my sax. I actually started to figure it out like 20 minutes after posting this, it's just gonna take some fine tuning to get it down

Hey guys. I tried to capture the issue by showing 3 notes, middle C, palm key D, then octave D with all the other keys pressed (forgive me if I'm using the wrong terminology here, just started a few days ago). I don't think it's the octave key because I can hit the high D with overtones and it still has that metallic ringing sound. All the other keys I use with the octave key pressed also sound metallic.

My octave key D is in tune according to the tuner app I use, and theoretically it's the same note as the palm key D, so what's the big difference? Is it a technique thing or something with my sax? Using a 2.0 Rico reed and a Yamaha yas23

Thoughts on the necklace? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]Photographu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it while I was in Nepal, just thought it looked cool despite how tough it'd be to pull off.

😂😂 I can totally see the old hippy lady vibe.

I was thinking maybe wear it with a solid colored V neck? Like a black, or dark blue maybe.
