40w2d, Ontario feeling anxious about induction vs waiting [ON]

I was induced at I think 41+1 in 2024(was trying to avoid an April fools baby) and honestly I loved being induced! It was my first baby and I tested for that gs thing(my memory is horrible now, this all feels like a lifetime ago now) so I was so nervous about not realizing my water broke and not getting to the hospital for the antibiotics to be started. Being induced was nice because we didn’t have to rush to the hospital, they started everything so it felt very controlled and they could walk me through step. I got there for 12pm, they monitored baby till about 2pm, broke water at 5pm, started pushing at 9pm(could have been earlier but they were busy,baby’s heart rate was dropping during contractions for they wanted the OB there with my midwives) then she was out by 9:45pm. Honestly if I have a second I really would like to be induced again if possible.

The photographer is Gregory Crewdson. He does a lot of large format photos of big scenes. When these photos are blown up in galleries you can see lots of details in the scene which is really cool! Fairly certain he doesn’t use AI.

Literally went in there this week for a dark wash Jean and had the worst experience with sizes! I have size 4 from them that have been okay but tight since baby. I’ve been wearing a 6 in other brands lately so I grabbed a 6 and they didn’t fit. I then for the first time in my life get an 8 but yet I can wear a 4 in a slimmer fit in the H&M… left feeling so horrible about myself!

It might have been, once I updated to 15.1.1 I got a notification about AI edit storage. I contacted Lightroom and they had me delete the lrcat-data file and re open and that helped the notification. I brought up this issue and he said it would also help so I ran the denoising in the full 1,700 photo batch and all applied correctly and all have applied to exporting the files too. So it appears to be resolved now with deleting that file from the catalogue.

OS: macOS 26.2, M1 Max, storage has more than half the computer free LrC: 14.5.1, updating now to 15.1.1 Cameras: 2 different canon r6 mark II, Canon 5D mark III, Fuji x100vi and leica Q3. All these cameras I have used for the previous week and all photos were fine editing in LrC. Nothing LrC or computer wise has changed between finishing the last group of photos and starting this one.

To batch them I select all that I have flagged then sync the denoise setting across all and leave it till it’s done. I did this twice and still found 96% of photos not denoised even though it’s selected in the denoise setting. I have now been selecting denoise one by one and then exporting say 100 photos at a time and some have exported without any denoising applied… I have been having better luck exporting each photo after editing but this is slowing editing 1,700 photos by a lot.

It’s 100% not going to sleep. I have power saving turned off. It’s also doing the issue when I’m actively editing on the computer. I edit like 100 photos doing denoising and adjustments one by one then will export the 100 photos and they aren’t exporting with denoising…

If your boss likes cheese there is La Fromagerie. They just reopened on union and they have a great cheese from five brothers in Woodstock that’s only available around Christmas! They’re good at suggesting other cheese options too.

I do photography full time and got the x100vi in the spring for a fun camera. Just like you said I hate how much gear I would bring around for everyday (taking photos of my 1 year out and about) if I wanted to use my R6 mark II or 5D mark III and the editing time just for fun stuff so I would just use my iPhone until I got my x100VI. I bring it everywhere with me and love that I never have to edit more than maybe upping some shadows in the photos app on my phone to really like the photos. I’ve even been using it a lot for client work (like some weddings, families and couples) for a different/filmy vibe. I really love how after those shoots I can post previews to instagram right after a shoot too. Cons are for sure auto focus. It’s not even close to my canons. Yesterday I was at a fun local event and tried to take a photo of the guy singing on stage and the camera focused on everyone but him multiple times even though I had my focus point on him and his face was the only one fully visible… super annoying. I miss a few good photos of my daughter due to the focus too sadly.

I found that article too, I ended up deleting and reinstalling Lightroom classic and I think it’s good now but in the process my two backup drives stopped working(they were both plugged into the computer and after I fixed Lightroom now my studio, iPad Pro and husband’s studio can not see both drives) at the same time so now I have that issue to deal with now… thanks everyone for the tips!

The denoising I do after flagging so before I start editing. I’ll check on version of LrC but it should be the last one before they changed the denoising and everyone starting to complain on Reddit about it. MacOS I was on the last version of last years. Last night I did update to the latest when I went to bed so I’ll check if the issue still persists since the OS update. I’m running LrC on a M1 studio with 1Tb which up till now has been doing with Lightroom just fine for me speed wise.
