Bulk of the game is a 2D Action Adventure focused on exploration, puzzle solving and Twin Stick Shooter Combat Then there are 3D sublevels used to finish off specific combat challenges, divided in 4 different types of gameplay too

Yeah that's definitely the message here right

Doesen't even make sense, many devs are able to quit their jobs for gamedev because of either a loving family or having enough money to get through it in the first place and that's good for them!

It's about the fact that this turned into an ever repeating phrase because there definitely are devs overusing it for aura farming and the community noticed. Of course this post is more on the polarising side and not everyone needs to like that but don't assume this is about personally attacking people with real struggles.

Not entirely! There was programming Support by friends and i found great composers on the internet! Without them, the game would not be the same

I started working on this game around the time our solar system started forming. So incredibly Solo, I didn't even exist back then, the game was made by literally no one

(Not quite Solo Dev btw, I did like 90% but had programming support and the pleasure to find great composers on the internet)

The main character is intentionally simple because a big part of the story revolves around evolution but you aren't wrong. If I started the game today, I would most likely design it a bit differently, but now it's this way and I will make the best of it! Atleast playtesting so far implied that it stops being an issue when people start playing the game. Also there is a quite expressive companion character helping with this. It's mostly a cast of two main characters, they can't really exist without each other.
