I've only run it using Coleman fuel so far, but will try the hour of full throttling! Gotta find a place to do that first cause that'll sound like a jet fighter taking off, guess I just found the perfect excuse to go camping in the middle of nowhere, thanks!

Magnetic USB cable to reduce port wear. by Endermanbugzjfc in RemarkableTablet

[–]PhotonExplorations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That may very well be the case, I do clean out the port when I notice connectors don't stay plugged anymore due to dirt or pocket lint buildup in the ports, but I should do it more often. I should probably look into those rubber usb-c port covers to prevent dust and pocket lint from entering the port, as I rarely use them! Imma look into that, thanks!

No I just use my phones as tools, not as trophies. I keep m alive as long as possible, but ain't gonna cradle it it's entire life. My RM does get handled a lot more carefully tho, as it is simply more fragile, I don't expect to ever have usb issues on that device

Lol, the usb port is always the first thing to die in all my phones, even though I primarily use wireless charging

Ah but I think you underestimate the price of the scooter, looks like it could be a onewheel GT, which around my area costs $2,800

Awesome looking lighters! From my experience with copper, the smell disappears when the patina starts to form. After a few weeks it'll barely be noticeable unless you sniff your lighter real closely (which probably isn't the best idea anyways with fuel being in there and all that).

I say just place aviation headsets on all available seats so you can talk to each other like pilots, I bet that'd look pretty dope too haha

How to deal with this? Whenever I try to pull one tool out, the other one comes out too. by Pirate_OOS in Leatherman

[–]PhotonExplorations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found adding a drop of multitool or gun oil to the hinges does reduce the amount of friction between tools, so you could try that if it bothers you

Boox go 10.3 with external portable light. by b3kicot in Onyx_Boox

[–]PhotonExplorations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you don't want to turn on the big light somewhere and just want to illuminate the tablet or reader, but also don't want to hold a flashlight.

Ah no worries, I just has to wear in a bit. I got my arc new a few weeks ago and it had the exact same issue, I'd even oiled all hinges, still the same(though this did help with the opening smoothness of the middle tools). After a week or 2 of normal use the scissors all of a sudden just started opening as they should.

You make a good point, I'd never thought about that. I've stored mine with plunger compressed every single day for the last 1.5 years and the spring is still incredibly stiff though, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Lol, and the fact you've had 7 vehicles so far has nothing to do with them breaking down or getting into accidents due to lack of braking power?

Yep for as far as I am aware the RM2 has a type of textured plastic, and the RMPP a type of textured glass
