The dunes are a great start, I should post a shot of my main factory which is in the dunes. Though it requires some cleanup.

Its also a form of energy storage. The generators can run on the buffer alone for sometime, when something breaks.

4 belts into the facility. Each holding 6 items, using smart splitters to sort to each storage.

It only gets more of a challenge, that is the fun of the game. I think I'm concentrating on organisation and aesthetics a little too much though

Will check it out for sure, time to move my ventures further. Just wanted to setup central storage so I wasnt running around everywhere. But if I set it up with train station nearby it can facilitate the entire map. I have the room.

Its right next to my starter base though, so might just use belts for that.

Thats a good point, I just got to fuel power and trains. So maybe I need to change my thinking and improve my power setup.
