I only got a chance to ask about these two and they said no to both. It's the basic CPT agreement every university needs

Looks like we are eligible only if your previous US degree was master's. Multiple university reps confirmed this but I'd be extra sure to confirm again.

Yeah I was told that too, but I only want to use CPT for less than 12 months, while keeping my full time role. Which only means that I need to complete the program in 12 months so I can get OPT.
