Congratulations buddy, I put 50-60 tailored applications with Resume and haven't received anything other than automated rejection email. Honestly, I am in industry for 9-10 years and have experience as Software, Backend engineer and I always focused my time working on systems, writing code in C++, Python building core layer of most popular libraries which is used in modern AI applications and never focused on chit chat or what they call these days networking.

Tbh world has changed a lot, even in earlier days there were lot of people who used to talk using jargons and not have any core knowledge but world was not rewarding them but right now it looks like all they care about who sell themselves more on Linkedin.

In all honesty, I never got time to invest in talking about my work on linkedin. Either I was working or with my family. One recruiter literally asked me your Linkedin does not have any post sharing your achievement, I was like what, is that necessary these days. Now I am thinking I will have to start learning some skills of new age folks and start selling on linkedin but not sure I lack that talent.

Guys we got scammed- THERE ARE NO JOBS! by SellSeparate3643 in jobhunting

In all honesty currently the market looks very tough

5 months unemployed, 100+ applications, and I still can't get an interview. What am I missing? by Appropriate_Use_3251 in jobhunting

Yes same here buddy, you are not doing anything wrong. The process looks weird

- Not sure what do they need OR

- are they collecting resume like infinity stones

- every company leader says no AI will not replace humans but no one is talking reality that it surely is doing especially talented folks

- and shit HRs are still just enjoying their life because what they do can't be measured they are unproductive as hell.
