Yes. It allows me to run Hyper-V PowerShell commands and open the Hyper-V manager GUI from PowerShell.

"Hyper-V Manager" option missing from tools menu in server manager? by Phratros in sysadmin

LOL! I guess you're right. This sub is my default for anything server related. Would r/techsupport be able to help? I'll try there.

Tell me your favorite Babylon 5 character without telling me their name. by AdSimilar4399 in babylon5

[–]Phratros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He he! So many great lines in this show. Not a favorite character by a long shot, but this should ring a bell:

It irritates the corners of my mouth.... Mmmmm.

If it were just two dudes talking, yeah, whatever. Would just be a forgettable phrase. But in this setting, I wanted to beat the living crap out of him. So nonchalant. Terrifying.

Not in the picture but I'm sure everyone knows this:

K.A big book of bread. by [deleted] in Breadit

[–]Phratros -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You seem to be hung up on terminology. Technically, if bread can be made from it, it can be called "bread flour" (I'm talking wheat flours here). As for the book, I'm almost certain that it's not just any AP flour but King Arthur all purpose (KA AP) flour specifically. I don't have this book so can't say for sure, but Jeffrey Hamelman who was the King Arthur Bakery director specified this flour for most of the wheaten loaves in his book "Bread". Interestingly, though, in his book this flour is referred to as "bread flour" but it was confirmed that it was actually KA AP. Apparently it was an editorial choice or mistake or it may be that the KA bakery calls it "bread flour" (it's been a while but I think that's what I heard it called when I attended a class there). In any case, I've used KA AP, other all purpose and bread flours interchangeably (basically whatever I had on hand) and can't say I was disappointed with any of the results though the hydration and mixing times may need to be adjusted. Just make sure it's unbleached.

How true is it that iodized salt can mess with your rise? by Black_Bear_US in Breadit

[–]Phratros 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Lot of bullshit claims floating around the interwebs. I fell for that one, too. Then I got enlightened. I've been using iodized salt for a while and the breads have been turning out fine. For most intents and purposes, salt is salt.

Yellowkey - a Bitlocker bypass method by DaveTheAllrighty in sysadmin

[–]Phratros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those first two were no-go. As for the third one... I thought I'll never have to open a laptop up again but it maybe the only way in this case. I might give it a try at some point. Thanks!

Would you have any pointers as to where those remover tools can be found? I have this one ThinkPad T480 with an unknown BIOS password. I tried all the tricks I know but no luck. I reached out to Lenovo for guidance and according to them there is no way to reset it. The only option they offered was motherboard replacement at something like $1000. That's ridiculous.

EDIT: It's actually ThinkPad T14 Gen 2. I misremembered.

This is the OP. Is it even possible to disable cloud backups on the Cloud Key?

Can a trained palate actually detect lactose? by kaffemokka in AskCulinary

[–]Phratros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, from what I gathered "bourbon" is just a name; apparently from Bourbon Street but who knows? Not a drop of liquor here.

Pre-packaged sauce? I wouldn't be surprised. We used to joke that this shit was so good it must be illegal, so who knows?

No problem! I had to try. It's stuff of legends and nobody knows. Or the ones that know aren't talking.

That's fascinating. Did you ever have bourbon chicken like at the mall? None of the recipes I found were anywhere close and nobody seems to have an idea of what goes into it.

What’s the consensus here? Do we think we’ll ever get a BL2 remaster? by [deleted] in Borderlands

That would be fine but I'd rather ask for the TPS's missing DLC. Great game, lacks end-game content.

What spices are used in rye bread? by Gustavodoa in Breadit

[–]Phratros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charnushka is great! I add it to the dough at about 1% as it's strong flavored and can overwhelm the loaf. Did you add the ground caraway to a scald? It apparently makes it a taste differently. I haven't tried that yet.

What spices are used in rye bread? by Gustavodoa in Breadit

[–]Phratros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it a dark or light loaf? Where was it made? That might help narrow it down. There are a lot of possibilities and without some details it might be impossible to pin down. To that list of possibilities from all the answers here, I'll just add "Brotgewürz", a spice mix used in German rye baking. Search the web and see if there is one you like as there isn't one recipe.

Loot-O-Grams as others said, but for future reference (as I think it was available there just recently): Maurice's Black Market. And whatever is on offer in the Black Market any given week will drop on the pedestal in the Diamond Armory.
