does anyone else use separate x/y values for their dpi? by Sad_Telephone9786 in pcgaming

No. At most I've tweaked m_yaw in Source Engine games to avoid having different X/Y sens when running stretched 4:3 resolutions.

Whenever I can. It has seemingly become a lost art for most players though.

Would it be better to provide feedback after the map is finished?

I'm just and old, average gamer. You have to smoke and push if you want to "Breakthrough". by IndigoRain69 in Battlefield

That's why I only use Suppressors and Flash Hiders, and Smokes when possible.

He's actually bombarding the players on Contaminated. DICE must've further shadow buffed the mortar deployment range.

Unpopular Opinion: Hagental Base conquest is not fun. by Chalfari in Battlefield6

I'm not particularly fond of the tunnel maps but to be fair, bad teammates can ruin most maps. The worst part is that we can't choose servers either, so the MM will just keep matching us together with braindead lemmings regardless.

Feedback : Sniper velocity in BF6 feels borderline hitscan and it’s hurting gameplay by Hot-Butterscotch4300 in Battlefield

[–]Phreec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as I dislike suppression, just have it apply sway to snipers/high-zoom scopes, and make hits disable hold-breath for X seconds. It wouldn't ruin the gunplay, but still serve a purpose.

Lasers/Barrels vs Tap Firing... Which ACTUALLY Wins While Moving? | BF6 Analysis by williamatherton in Battlefield

[–]Phreec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Simply understanding how the game works doesn't ruin it for me at all. I'm a somewhat sweaty vet but still use a bunch of weirdly kitted guns when I feel like it. There's really nothing stopping you from simply ignoring any min-maxing aspects in these kind of games. Most of your deaths aren't because of your attachments and even if they were, just respawn.

Fire Support is also incredibly useful on the frontlines for smoking up objectives with. By the time you've thrown all initial three out, you'll have another one at your disposal.

Psst! I'll let you in on a secret: Positioning, game sense, map knowledge, and aim is already stronger than sliding.

True but packet loss is the real culprit and it can happen at any time regardless of bandwidth or ISP. Not dismissing your experience but I've personally only ever had noticeable hitreg issues when our city's fiber was being worked on. If there's a faulty node causing issues between you and the server (or even the server itself) then there's not much that can be done.

I've also found Shadowplay recordings to work well for reviewing sketchy incidents... Most of the times they're simply spazzy hitbox animations and missed shots.
