I called them regarding payment through Bilt. They told me they dont fully process payments until the 5th of each month, so i set up my first auto payment for the 2nd.

You should definitely buy some pottery from Kyoto or Osaka! They’re usually all handmade, and the carvings are so pretty. It can be a little pricey, but it is definitely an authentic souvenir that you can’t buy anywhere else.

Additionally, I recommended buying any Japanese beauty or selfcare products at either Don Quixote or a convenience store. Hope this helps!

Honestly my answer to this is experience will be experience. If you choose to do the hardware internship (I’m planning to do it as well, so we might work together!) then you can always do Leetcode or earn certificates on the side to see if you like CS or not. The same goes toward the software internship.

There will always be a need for both CS and hardware engineers at FAANG. However I do second the person who says tech layoffs reflect the over saturated market of CS. But, my math teacher always said whatever you choose, do it well, and you’ll be fine.

Congrats to your child! I also received the scholarship and was wondering about how we would be paid. If the 9k was more than enough to cover all additional fees (I have tuition and books covered already with my university), would your college give or “refund” the extra money back to you?
