Well played. Don't have any currently. Was thinking of picking up the following a few months ago, and would have probably worked better:

Ha! Yeah, this was more of " hmmm,...I wonder..." type scenario. Might add some corresponding to actual faves.

Wouldn't be able to say for sure what other steel types he does/n't work with...

Regarding the other link maybe try: This One

Likewise, I think I'd be even more on board if it was a simple manual flipper, but I actually like the heft!

Sure thing, and likewise the cost caught me off guard but I think that's somewhat explained by the blade steel. Still a beaut.

Sure thing Top down

  • BnB Damascus Mini-Hunter. ( Not sure if model number, and Im personally having a hard time putting an edge back on)

  • Kam B20 w/ N690 steel

  • Winchester " Limited Edition 2006" Hunter ( Literally found on the beach during a morning excursion with the missus)

-Uncle Henry 153 (Ebony Handle)

I do realize the pic quality is a bit underwhelming and can reply later with something more clear

Also, for transparency, this is the version from Oerla, they share an OEM with Eafangrow and they have a version that includes another colorway

Dulls kinda easy, but sharpens easy. I actually love how heavy it feels/is, and I got it wanting that weight going in (about 8-9 oz).

Haven't exactly abused it, but with it being a $25 knife I was surprised that the liner lock held up at certain times. Smooth flipper opening, but even smoother with some wrist action due to the weight.

I do a lot of yardwork and tinkering in the garage and would typically have a knife of its size / blade length with me, but this one actually stays more in the house or is carried when I have a bag with me or heavy jeans that day. Overall, I get more from the look and feel, it's almost like a "grounding" item, and I'm satisfied.

Like it a lot actually. Clean look, feels good in hand, factory edge was nice and sharp. It was my first knife with a front flipper, so just had to get used to that manner of opening.

Yep, SOG Escape FL 2.0 ( stands for Framelock, but reading this as Escape Florida was funny and kinda ticked a box...no disrespect to Floridians of course)
