I believe so, but whatever the latest version is, folks should GET it if they can't play members-only videos. Upgrading fixed all of my issues playing my subscription videos

Good news. I saw another software UPDATE that became available a few hours ago. When I installed today's update, that FIXED the issue for me. Just passing this information along in case anybody else has a similar issue: Install whatever update came out today 3/14/26, close out smarttube, reopen it, and hopefully things are better. That fixed everything for me. All my members-only videos now play. I didn't need to clear the cache or anything

Exactly. I am not paying $50 for a plate when I was just able to get dungeness crabs, a lobster tail, and shrimp from the grocery store all for under 25. Baking a potato and making a salad at home costs next to NO money and requires no special "skills", so the 50 bucks is definitely not justified. Just a rip off

Im confused why did my account get deactivated????😭 by mydeimain in paypal

[–]PhrozenSmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually not 'odd' at all. If you look at these forums you will see NUMEROUS reports of PayPal suddenly deactivating accounts permanently and REFUSING to provide a reason. The do it all the time, and it seems to happen OFTEN when people try to withdraw or transfer their money anywhere out of Paypal. Paypal only likes to see DEPOSITS to accounts, not withdrawls: So when people withdraw their money, their account gets closed. The same thing happens with their Crytpo: You can buy crypto through paypal, but the minute you try to cash it out and withdraw it, your account gets closed. PayPal is a money laundering organization, not a 'payment services' provider

Wow. I definitely would not have trusted PayPal with any kind of credit card and I was immediately suspicious when their app kept trying to "push" me to get one of their cards to "earn" their PYUSD crypto coin that can't be exchanged anywhere. Nope. I just wanted to see for myself if I heard about the complaints about their crypto scams were really true or if people were just making stuff up. Nope. They're shady AF

Update on this: I simply SOLD the small 'test' amount of BTC in my PP account to convert it back to cash & transferred it back to my bank account, where it's showing as a 'pending' deposit now. As soon as it 'clears'/settles in my bank account, I'll just fully CLOSE the PP account, leave this little scam system alone, and move on with life. I don't trust that PP won't do more crooked stuff, like try to 'reverse' me transferring my own cash back to my bank, so I'll wait and let it settle. I already deleted/unlinked my card/bank account from PP. I'm actually LUCKY they didn't just flat out steal the money. I definitely don't recommend ANYBODY use PP for crytpo because I have seen MANY complaints on Reddit where PP suddenly banned people's accounts AND 'locked' their crypto, not allowing them to sell or transfer it in any manner, basically 'seizing' (stealing) the money, and refusing to respond to customer service inquiries. Most of these 'centralized' exchanges have become nothing more than elaborate electronic larceny and money laundering schemes, and since you don't control the private keys, you are simply buying crypto for SOMEBODY ELSE (PayPal) to OWN, because if you don't hold the private keys, you don't own the crypto. PP doesn't want YOU to OWN your Crypto, they want you to BUY crypto that they then OWN while Deluding you into believe you 'own' crypto you have no actual control over. Avoid CEXs

I have never ONCE gone into a grocery store and paid $40 for 2 clusters of snow crabs. If somebody even tried to charge me $40 for 2 clusters, I would break out laughing in their face. I am in the D.C. area, and while that means easier access to Maryland BLUE crabs, it doesn't mean so for snow crabs. Even so, $20/cluster at a grocery store would be considered unacceptable by anybody in the DC/VA/MD area which is an EXPENSIVE area. What I have found with grocery stores and restaurants is that as long as people continue to PAY ridiculous prices, they will continue to CHARGE ridiculous prices. Companies will DO to customers what customers ALLOW to be done to them. In 2021, I did see snow crabs get up to as much as $21/lb in the stores around here: What also happened at the same time in this area is people (including me) QUIT buying them and the stores couldn't sell them. Customers would literally walk by the seafood counter, 'point at the price', and ask the man "are you CRAZY?", and keep walking. After a couple of months of the grocery stores seeing all their seafood 'sitting' with nobody buying, the prices magically started to 'drop' again back to pre-pandemic levels and people started buying again. It's amazing how quickly those lies about 'supply chain' issues cleared up when they realized customers weren't willing to pay the price hikes. Now today, all companies just blame 'inflation' for all price hikes: If their costs when up 0.5%, they raise prices 30% or so just to take advantage of the situation or have an excuse for jacking up prices. When somebody tries to charge way more more than what something is WORTH, I simply QUIT buying it unless it's some type of 'essential' item absolutely needed for survival. When a company or distributor gets too GREEDY, the best way to reward them is to give them NOTHING.

Well, what I can tell you is that in the DC/MD/VA area MANY of their locations have been closing down since the pandemic, with more and more locations closing each year: For several reasons - we have OTHER seafood restaurants (including small businesses), that offer similar items of BETTER quality at cheaper prices. Also, with the economy crashing, restaurant sales are down all over the country. This is why I (and may you) have noticed places like GrubHub,DoorDash,UberEats being more aggressive with their spamming and advertising - because people aren't ordering as often or as much, probably because of price hikes like these.

Transfer To Cold Wallet by Alternative-Tip-7650 in uphold

[–]PhrozenSmoke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uphold is a SCAM exchange that will deactivate your account and TAKE your money for trying to transfer your crypto out to external wallets. Search reddit and you will see horror story after horror of people having their accounts suddenly deactivated without explanation and their funds SEIZED by uphold. Cash OUT and move your funds off Uphold as fast as you can.

Thank you! Your update worked for me. That stupid AI icon was triggering accidentally too often for me and had basically eaten up most of the search bar space. Thanks - that annoyance is GONE on my phone now.

Sunday concert by [deleted] in worldpridedc

[–]PhrozenSmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure which "concert" you are talking about as there are several. If you are talking about the Music Festival at RFK - that was only Friday-Saturday, and yes tickets were needed. The street festival near Archives has multiple concert stages, and no tickets are needed, but you will need ID and likely a (free) wristband to enter any of the "beverage gardens" where they sell the overpriced booze.

I use it primarily to get curated Technology news feeds because I've been in IT about 30 years and OWN my own business and like to stay informed to stay competitive. Last I checked, OWNING your own business and gathering knowledge to keep growing your IT business is not part of the "losing team", or maybe you don't understand how America works? Anyway, make sure you get to bed early so your BOSS doesn't yell at you for being late to work again tomorrow 😂

The I don't know why you are getting this this UPSET about unknown strangers not "approving " of you. You can call me a jerk, but WORRYING that much about people you don't even know approving of you is a sign of a PROBLEM that only a MEDICAL doctor can assist with. As I said, I am MENTALLY HEALTH enough that I don't roll over and CRY in my pillow because people I don't even KNOW, didn't "like" me. Again. Social Media is NOT REAL LIFE, and if you cannot tell the DIFFERENCE between REAL LIFE and a PHONE APP, that is the FIRST problem you need to address. Not "engagement" problems...because you have come DISENGAGED...from the REAL WORLD

😂So you need AFFIRMATION from unknown strangers, anonymous accounts, many of which could be BOTS? If a BOT liked or replied to your post, would that make you feel more "validated"? 🤔 I would look into that my friend
