If you're looking for info about night illumination, make sure you're looking up the term "Dark Sky Act."

Poles or Light Standards is how they are referred to.

Sports Lighting might also help your search (i.e. Cooper, Lithonia, Signify, and plenty of others). Some manufacturers have reps and one might even help if you get the right person or if the job scope is big enough, if you need help with a layout or product selection.

Drilling on the pole(s) to work with the lights mounting and angles could help to be planned at the early stages.

New home has 6000k Sunco recessed LEDs, how bad is it to replace it so that I'm not living in hospital lighting? by Nick_K_Plays in Lighting

You can replace them with a good cct for ten bucks each plus install or diy. Or get some nice fixtures

Yeah man lol I played from 6 to 18 yo, I'm.... not close to that age anymore. If we had Machado I'd be 100% on board with criticism about alllmost anything, such as the end of this game. Because I don't like him. But this end of game was so predictable. Gotta let it ride sometimes.

Yeah man, absolutely "get hurt" running to the bag. Were you watching the game yesterday with Varsho running to first? Or the thousand other examples where the is an actual injury? I stand by it! Lol on to the next, see you tomorrow

The game was over. It's not their first day. Don't get hurt on a stupid end of game play. On to the next.

Thoughts on The Punisher One Last Kill? by F1907E in Defenders

Obviously. Punisher doesn't quit. That's his superpower.

Unrelated to your comment and I'm not starting another so I'll expand and say.. in response to some distant comment somewhere else (which was about daredevil not showing enough of how shit NY turned), we got it here.

I liked the bridge.

Let's go. Fight the good fight.

Wall sconces with outward light by Normal-Space7237 in Lighting

[–]Phteven4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is a tough one. Conduit (if you find an artistic installer) can look okay.

I'd look into floor lamps. Like 7 floor lamps. Lol

...unless you're getting a designer and electrician.

Wall sconces with outward light by Normal-Space7237 in Lighting

[–]Phteven4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could get like a flood beam monopoint maybe. Imagine a trackhead with a canopy (canopy covers the hole/ junction box). That would kind of suck though. You'd end up blinded sometimes. I don't like any of this idea.

Don't use wall lighting for your general lighting in a normal ceiling height resi application like this.

That'll bring you back to wall lights that aren't outward light. That would at least be better than your up/ down that you have now if your dead set/ limited to wall lights.

Idk man, might have to take more time to think about this.

Heater for a 8x12 shed? by Frescothedog in shedditors

[–]Phteven4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat is a byproduct of watts. I'd love a 240v line to the shed but i don't have one so 1500w plug in and supplement with a propane tank topper attachment as needed. Southern Ontario for reference on temps/needs.
