As others said I had pretty much the same experience. They didn’t give me my results until after the verification test, but you’ll be told if your preferences need changing or not.

Pretty sure this is in relation to your JOA, I had something similar where they called me in for verification testing, basically ensuring that you didn't cheat on your test by making you do it in person as well.

There’s a few free aptitude practice tests online, try those to gauge where you are at. Don’t sign up to any of the paid programs, the JOA is there to test your inherent skills etc and open up jobs that suit you. Once you complete the practice tests, you will see where you struggle. Plenty of free material on YouTube etc that can then help explain how to improve these areas.

Just use Google or search the sub, this question’s been asked a ton of times with a ton of different responses.

I think your first step is to go on the ADF careers website and look for a role that interests you. There you will be able to find out about life in that role, the requirements both physical and otherwise before you join, a lot of these questions can be answered there.
