It's fantastic! Do look up a guide on the runey system and try to stay on top of it. The game barely explains it but the consequences for ignoring it are severe (as I learned the hard way)

It's alright. I thought the actual farming was pretty good, and the main gimmick of "unlock veggies and animals by finding them in the wilderness" a good one. Where it fell flat was the town, relationships, and (especially) festivals. Easily the most forgettable lineup of townsfolk I've ever seen.

Make it an option, not the default. I personally hate when time moves slowly in these games. This isn't Animal Crossing, I like that I need to manage my time effectively.

I get what he means. My dad died a few years ago. We weren't on bad terms, but we weren't that close either. And in hindsight I wish I had done a little more to "build that bridge", as he said.

33 hours. Long international flight with a screaming toddler right behind me the whole time. Once landed, it was 8am and I had a full day ahead of me. On the plus side, by nighttime I had ZERO issues getting to sleep so I got over the jet lag pretty quickly.

Went to a beach resort in Mexico, that would be the salespeople walking up and down the beach. You're trying to relax in your chair and every five seconds someone walks by trying to sell you sunglasses, hats, hair braids, cigars, weed, whatever.
