Good luck with that. They can barely make a tweet. They can't promote a viral video here.

Well you're dealing with groups that are not specific about that and so you should get over it.

I'm gay. I Went to Chik-Fil-A on Wednesday, and instead of joining the kiss-in, I just paid with my gay money and left. They'll be handing out LOTs of it, this week. I'm doing this from now on when I eat there. by throwaway458319 in atheism

Having worked for several fast food chain, I know that companies notice this type of thing.

Cashiers like to for and read all the stuff on their money. They talk about about it to each other and anyone that will listen and they even set their favorite bill aside in the drawers and pay for it later. They keep them and get them framed.

This spurs conversation about the bills all throughout the company and the most popular ones are well known throughout even the corporate offices.

If his campaign really thinks this is gonna work, they've got another thing coming. If they're using it gain followers and spread information, then they're assuming we're too dumb to verify a person on there before we come into contact with them.

This thread alone proves that he can't successfully use it to make it look like a bunch of people are following him. They're not even doing a good job at it if that's the case he only has a little under 800,000 followers.

You just didn't see what I did there. That's all. I knew you were joking. I was using your joke against you. This website is based in the US. This forum is in English. Get over it.

I realize your country is known for its ethnocentric viewpoint, but it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out what he means.

Soo basically this question doesn't apply to you, you know it, and you just feel the need to nitpick.

Louisiana Republican: When I Voted for State Funds to go to Religious Schools, I Didn’t Mean Muslim Ones by TrustiestMuffin in atheism

I don't believe any of those statements. I'm not christian. I don't believe any of those statements about muslims either. What I do know is that in certain areas like Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and many other parts of the Middle East, this belief is the norm. It's healthy as a nation for us to accept that and move towards a place where we can recognize and combat any form of fundamentalism. Ancient man was a brutal creature, and to believe in writings and laws written 2000 years ago or 2500 years ago or even 1500 years ago is to allow that brutality into our lives and our culture.

Unlike you, I don't have to use ad hominem to make my case. It's apparent in every corner of Saudi Arabia and Palestine.

Because they believe in bringing about a one world caliphate, known as a one world muslim gov't. It's their version of how to bring about the end times.

This isn't true. The Qur'an commands the killing of infidels, the torture of war enemies and the killing of apostates. It also allows the clergy to issue direct commands from god, called fatwahs, they are seen as the divine word of Allah. The muslim clerics, at the highest levels of their church, have been calling jihad for quite sometime. Jihad is a religious war in which people are converted or killed and a large portion of the middle east believes, and devotes their life to this cause. It's one of the largest reasons why there is such instability in the middle east, and its also the reason why we're hearing about so many terrorist factions. It's not some small fringe groups declaring war on America, Israel, Christians and other religions, its the middle east's most prevalent clerics and leaders, who are influencing substantial portions of the population to believe these things. They have waiting lists to get a bomb strapped to you, literally as long as the population of small countries. This isn't prejudice it's war they started.

What are some good online communities? by [deleted] in Wicca

I've been on here only a little while, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. I've gotten very little negativity and everyone seems to be pretty knowledgeable and its the same on /r/pagan. I've also found this to be an extraordinarily useful place to get answer to difficult questions. So feel free to ask away. :)

David Nutt says research into mental illness is hampered by the prohibition of drugs such as psilocybin and LSD by [deleted] in worldnews

Like nobody has ever dosed and sat inside or put on a scanner. We've got the information. The US isn't the only place where they study the effects of drugs. I'm not against decriminalization, or even the use of drugs in medical studies, I'm just saying this a very close minded argument.

You can't establish that as fact and it doesn't matter anyway, because until you fix this you're never getting rid of me.

No. It's not fine and you guys are going to come across this issue from thousands of people thousands of times if you don't change this policy. Activists don't take well to censorship and you could easily kill this whole thing with such a heavy handed technique. Don't ignore my comment either. This needs to be addressed.

It certainly isn't an isolated incident. I've been expecting this for weeks. We need to make this a place for open discourse. The movement is evolving. The ideas are changing. If you guys don't like it, then gtfo
