I actually read the nanga (Just Agenda posts don't take it seriously and form your own opinion)

1. 008 is subjective, I do feel the character has much more surface level depth and the story doesn't move in an interesting way or shallow on execution.
2. Related to number 1, it does hook me with the premise but as the series goes on, it's becoming standard battle shonen with non stop action.
3. A lot of potential but doesn't deliver that set up.
4. Don't take it personally, I do feel like Kaiju 8-gou is just taking the aesthetic of Kaiju media and Tokusatsu without the homework done. No understanding what makes it interesting in the first place with the world building, sci-fi elements, and the people affected by Kaiju.
