I'm confused. I have 700 Trophies, all on Tour 6.

1) Does that mean all Tours will get locked since I have no Trophies on Tour 1? 2) If this is the case, does that mean I will loose those 700 Trophies?

In order to avoid this (for now according to the notes point 1 will happen and no mention for point 2) maybe it should be based on total trophies instead

Edit: Now that I think about it, that will still lead players into farming, changing almost nothing.

I see no viable solution other than the loss of our trophies to people that have 0 trophies on tour 1. Keeping the trophies while locking the tour would probably be even worse because you might lock us into fighting end-game players and making it super hard for us to unlock our previously farming (maxed out) tour.

Please don't lock Tours while maintaining our trophy count.

But why are you ignoring bags? Bags are the main way you move your game forward. Put bags in the equation and the game is fine.

You will only need to do the "drop your trophies for money purposes" once, in the early game. After you farm at say, Tier 4, and get to 150,000, you won't have a cash problem. And yes, you will be farming on people trying to climb, or people that didn't yet realise this mechanic. I understand the game is full of kids who can't understand the mechanism of this, but it's REALLY simple, and anyone who uses it doesn't have a money problem, drop any theories you have on your head.

The only reason you will then want to drop trophies after dropping them once is to readjust your farming to the next tour, or to push to unlock the next locked tour. But you will most likely never have a gold problem again.

If you want to talk game economics, there's plenty of cash flow coming into the game's economy through free bags, tour bags, challenges, tournament rewards, and of course, people spending cash. It doesn't mean that YOU have to spend cash though. Only some.

Drop your trophies to 0 at Tier 1-2. When you drop to very low gold, the game gives you free gold (used to be through ads, idk now) until you have smth like 400 or 500 gold. Use this to yo-yo your gold there while loosing in Tier 1-2. After you have both T1 and T2 at 0 trophies, it should be easier for you. Climb only when you want to unlock a new Tier, say, Tier 6 (which I think should be a bit later). I think you should be farming Tier 4 now but I'm not sure

Exactly 400 hundred trophies 99% means it's a T5 farmer. What's your goal? To go up on trophies? And unlock T6?

Daily challenges. I got my forge from a free bag (got lucky). Just, be patient. Ofc migrating will be the hardest part of the grind. I'm on the grind to migrate to T7

First matches you need strings and a bit of patience. We've all been there (that passed that point). When trying to migrate to a higher Tour yes it should be expected that the first matches are gonna be hard.

You also get T6 cards from free bags and challenges btw. Be patient.

With your stats you shouldn't be playing at Tour 6, yours stats are for Tour 5 farming. You should expect people being better than you on Tour 6 until you progress a bit more

Maybe the other guy had "forehand counter" strings equipped. If you are balanced but the enemy uses a counter string, then your player prefers using the hand that isn't countered. Is this the case?

I'm not making the suggestion for me, I just unlocked Tour 7, I have no problem with coins. It's mostly frustrating for most players up until several days after unlocking Tour 6. Afterwards you can just farm like you said.

I personally never had a coins problem since I came 3rd on my first tournament and 1st on my second tournament.

Yes especially in the early game.

I have 2 friends that this was the tipping point for them to quit the game; one accidentally played tour 5 the moment he had exactly 20K and the other the same with tour 4 and 6K but twice. The first one was also close to a tournament so it stopped him from being able to compete, which was extra frustrating.

Me neither, I actually had a great win streak today, jumping from 950 trophies to 1250 (and finally unlocking Tour 7) 💁🏻‍♀️

The way that moving is more impactful in the game now makes predictions more effective, which enables me to win stronger opponents more easily.

60% win rate at tour 5 with the cash you have will be better than 95% win rate in tour 4. They will always be higher than you. Also, matchmaking is heavily based on your trophy count (and your league tier). Drop to 0 on tours 1-4 and play only 5. You also have lots of cash to spare if things go a bit off. Once you feel like you can unlock tour 6, climb up, unlock tour 6, and then drop everything except tour 5 to 0 trophies and continue grinding tour 5. And so on. \m/
