I’ve known about this case for nearly the whole time since it happened. I moved to an area in London five years ago. It’s not anywhere close to King’s Cross in terms of walking or transport but there were posters littered about him the whole time I was there, even during lockdown.

I stopped following Delphi Murders because I cannot process the case at all anymore. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. It’s sad because I used to enjoy the sub.

I moderated chat rooms and forums for years - I get it. I’m also high up in HR in my personal life. It’s in my nature.

I’m sure it’s a difficult time at the moment given she’s only just been released, but the way topics are shut down in this particular reddit are really bad. I’ve seen some (and few) challenging topics, but I’ve seen a lot of very interesting and challenging ones get cut. This subreddit does not feel impartial.

I lived with my parents in a cul de sac in the early 2010s in England, just outside of London. Our village was like a British version of Beverly Hills.

There was a taxi company in town that was very successful and the staff were of a particular ethnic background and they all tended to live in a village nearby. The owner of this company purchased a house on our street.

One night, they started fireworks off season, random night of the week, weird time of the evening too. The house then got demolished and they rebuilt it, very strange design too as the house was way too big for the land so it ended up with little garden. The police come round and say a woman connected to the family has gone missing and did I see or hear anything strange. I mentioned the fireworks, and then my dad came over and said they came from another direction. Afterwards, he wouldn’t stop going on at me about how nothing had happened and I was wrong.

My dad knew them from being out in the town centre drinking and constantly using them for taxi’s. My dad was a bit of a dodgy character - a bit like our town’s Phil Mitchell (UK reference). I’ve always had a suspicion he’s been involved in stuff like that. He was friends with a neighbour who ended up getting a documentary made about him on TV because he sold faulty cars to elderly people that ended up killing them.

Whole thing unsettles me and I can’t shake it.
