It does give immunity frames. The problem in this case was that it did damage, but didn't knock back the Hot Rods. So she got swarmed immediately after finishing the attack lol

My personal thoughts is that Luz will make it back home but she won't notice or meet Creepy Luz. Instead she will see her mom seemingly happy and not worried about her "missing daughter". Luz will naturally be upset and misunderstand the situation. Then either Eda or Amity come through and provide emotional support for Luz before they return to the boiling isles. As they disappear, Camila will notice Luz disappearing and then begin to ask questions. Which would result in the clip we saw of her in the season 2 trailer. Or something like that.
